JS's HULK Statue Thread - All sorts o' HULKS here!

I figured Andy would be the natural for this question, but it is
certainly open to ANYBODY with info.

First:
I've recently gotten the bug BAD for the Attakus Hulk Statue,
and I was wondering anywhere that it was or is available in
the US of A? I just can't seem to find the darned thing here!
Board dealers? Board members? Friend of a friend of a friend?

Second:
Anybody have the grey and green Bowen Hulks, how are they
in comparison to Attakus Hulk, and are they available as well
anywhere around? Anybody have pictures of them?

Third:
Are there any other amazingly cool looking Hulk Statues available
that I don't know about? I'm very interested at this point.

Fourth:
When the @#$!@$% is Sideshow gonna make a HULK Statue!?
(c'mon Andy - you can tell me. I'll keep it secret, keep it safe) :p

Personally, I don't own any existing Hulk statues, I've just never seen one that I 'had to have'. But, I'm a super picky b@stard when it comes to the Hulk (unless it's 'toys', in which case I buy just about everything).

I've never seen the Attakus one in person, so I can't really give a good impression of it... But I can say that based on pics I've seen I prefer the Bowen/Shifflet statue better (remember-- there are a few different Bowen Hulk statues out there, this is the one that I personally like- www.azogscollection.com/p...ay_big.jpg (http://www.azogscollection.com/priceguides/bowen_statues/hulk_gray_big.jpg) ). The Attakus one looks well done, I'm just not a fan of the 'Movie Hulk' design which the statue appears to be based on.

I know Bowen's got 3 more full-sized Hulk statues in the works (yes, 3!), and I'm sure that they'll be even better efforts than his previous statues. Of course, one might also be tempted to hold out even longer, in the event that our green friend should appear in Sideshow's 1/4 scale line... As that behemoth would surely leave all other Hulk statues trembling in it's wake.... Hypothetically, of course.

That DS Hulk is cool, but I have not seen the Bowen Hulk personally.

There is also a huge 1:1 scale Hulk Head based on Alex Ross's artwork. I've seen this one in stores and it looks very realistic almost like someone loped off the Hulk's head and stuffed it as a trophy. Maybe you'd be interested in that one JS?

The Bowen hulk statue is by far and away the best Hulk statue ever made. the grey is nice but the green is killer. I had the Attakus but sold him. It looked retarted in person. Very awkward. It basically sucked. And believe it or not the Bowen hulk minis are great. A new pose and can be gotten for about $20 each. Thats my 2cents

I have both the full size Bowen Hulks from Randy and Shifflett Bros. They are great pieces for the day and time they came out, but both Randy and Shifflett Bros. skillz have improved, and I deperately await the new ones..

lso picked up the above DST one sculpted by Gaberial Marquez, I love the piece, however it was an 11 inch statue shrunk to 9 inches.

Before Dynamic Forces lost their Marvel license Pablo Vilanio and Martin Canale (..I think ) were working on a very cool, Wolvie vs. Hulk dio, and that Hulk was looking nice..

The great Andy has had some sculpts of Hulkie that I would like to see as reality one day also...

Well, from the pictures I've seen, I have to say that to me the
Attakus Hulk blows away the green or grey Bowen Hulk Statues.

They look "rough" in comparison. That, plus the musculature
on the Bowen Hulks just seems "off" to me. Specifically the
pectoral muscle striations - they just look bad to me.

BUT, I look forward to the new Hard Hero Hulk:

I have yet to see a Hulk statue that is just too awesome for me to pass up. I must admit though that the Hard Hero proto you have pics of Azog is looking pretty good.

Very cool, but I think 2006 is gonna be the year of the Hulk, as there are a lot of new statues coming out about him..

I also suggest that anyone fan of hulk pick the latest issues of the comic, as it really shows that Hulk is very dominating, if the current ruler of the world is fightened of him...
