But this Invisible man exclusive is one of the best Sideshow monsters :
special transparent body, super clothes, very creepy sculpt, fun way of posing,only 750 made...

I hate when that happens, i saw some days ago a 1/4 scale Samaritan gone for 150!!!! a 1/4 Samaritan

I would definately be weary of activities like this - its also the same seller who sold the Karloff Bride Of Frankenstein figure for $100 plus listed in another post. It smells of fake bidding from other parties connected to the bidder and driving the prices up as a result - while a few figures have started to increase in value, The Werewolf Of London figure as an example, be careful of scams at the same time. Its a shame collectors get taken advantage of these ways.

What would have been an honnest price?
How much is this figure looked for?

The prices for a patient zero are even more out of proportion if you ask me

They may be more out of proportion but they are legit. There's an exclusive IM on ebay now for 79.99 or best offer...there have been no offers. It's a cool figure, but a 50.00 figure at best.

It may be a scam, but I have to disagree on the Invisible Man being a $50 tops figure while... "Patient Zero" is considered "reasonably inflated."

It's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. Look at the ebay sales. Subject 5 has been making steady increases, has an extremely low edition size and is a popular genre...zombies. The ES on the IM is 2.5 times larger, and while universal monsters will always have a following, it just isn't hot at this time.

Wow. Thats a fine crazy price. Its one of my favourite figures too.

I was only able to get $29.05 for mine about 3 months ago.

This guy is either really good at auction descriptions, really lucky, or very clever...
