I have wanted one of these ever since I first saw the Terminator in 1984 and SS did not disappoint. It is 20 inches tall and the light up eyes look really cool, unfortunately there is no plug adapter and it takes three watch batteries so I will not be able to keep them on for as long as I would like. It has laser blasts on his chest so it is not in pristine condition as I thought from the pictures but not nearly as battle damaged as the 1/3 scale Cinemaquette piece.
For those of you who purchased one, when you get it don't worry about the finger on the right hand, it is loose so it can fit into the trigger of the plasma rifle. They should have put a warning about it in the box because I think they are going to get allot of calls from people thinking its broken.

And for those who think the Cinemaquette Termininator is worth tripple the price

I didn't realize these were shipping. Did you order it from Sideshow?

Looks awesome. Screw the Cinemaquette version! :rock

Looks very good! :rock Mine should be coming any time........
:bliss :bliss :bliss :bliss :bliss

I'm NOT impressed with the Sideshow version. As I feared, the paint job is awful for $500. The teeth should have been separate and made of white/yellow plastic rather than painted on sloppy.

I really wanted to buy the Sideshow version of the Endo, but was scared by the price. So I bought the NECA 18" version to hold me over until decent pics of Sideshows version popped up. The sculpt on the NECA version is pretty nice, except the face is a little fat in the mouth. Well I have to tell you the Sideshow version looks to be using the EXACT same molds as the NECA toy. Ok, not quite exact, Sideshows legs are slightly more accurate at the very top, but at the cost of not being able to move them. Plus the Sideshow version has the nifty fingers. However the NECA version only cost me $30 for a MUCH cheaper version of the exact same sculpt.

I wasn't thrilled with the NECA paint job, so I re-painted mine. I ended up buying two of them. Painted one chrome, the other is an old battle worn version.

Gun re-paint (why doesn't Sideshows look like this???)

(I'm not getting my images to show up here correctly, sorry!!)

Re

I see that they didn't fix the teeth. :puke

I have one of these coming, so I'll have to see it in person to determine how much I want to keep it.

Re: Re

This looks...just OK. I actually might pass on it after seeing these pics. I'm very unimpressed. The teeth look absolutely terrible. I may just get the Cinemaquette version instead.

Re: Re

I dont like the teeth either but my thing has always been the way the legs are just dont like the stance.

Re: Re

Hmm, hopefully the pics aren't doing justice to how the teeth look, but in any event I still think this figure rocks :rock and I am SO excited about getting it! I, too, have the NECA figure, and for the price it's totally awesome, but I'm more excited about the SS Terminator! The teeth in the pics above don't worry me (at the moment, anyway) and when I get mine, if I don't believe they look like they should, then I'm not above doing a bit of touch up, although I'm hoping that for the price I won't have to, since this isn't like buying a $50 1/6 figure that needs a little boost somewhere.

I'm looking forward to getting this one, and it will be displayed with pride (alongside the Predator maquette when it arrives! Hey, I just had an idea for a "Predator vs. Terminator" movie! :lol )

Re: Re

Mine is scheduled to arrive on Friday and I am really looking forward to this one. I have 4 of Sideshow's Premium figures and I am very happy with them all. From the pics I've seen, I don't think I'll be disappinted.

Re: Re

I saw some better pics over at the Last-Alliance forum. Some of them look very nice!

This piece should be fine.

Re: Re

do you have the link ?? :bow

I don t want prototype pics...i would like to have better pics from the real sold version...

No one has received this statue yet ??

Re: Re

Hey,

What size of batteries does it take?!?!?

I need to know before mine arrives next week.

Re: Re

skualman, I think the person who started this thread (smc100) posted their pics of the Terminator they have in hand. The pics at the top of this thread are it. :wave :dance

Gruson,
I don't know the exact size of the batteries but it takes three watch batteries that are supplied with the statue.

I tried to take better pictures tonight without the flash but I don't have very good lighting in my apartment and I couldn't get any of them to come out.

Here is one with the flash not so bad. Sorry about the paper under the on switch but I need to tighten the screw so it will not keep shutting off.

Also the teeth are very small and I cannot see the flaws that show in my pictures in person.

Re: Re: Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton

Thanks smc!

I am not too worried about it. I just wish mine would hurry and get here.

Re: Re: Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton

That last pic looks pretty good. As much as I dislike the teeth, I think we all know I'll get it anyway.:lol
