“Elseworlds” Teaser – The Monitor and The Flash on Earth-90
Television News 3

At the end of Sunday night’s “Supergirl” episode The CW aired the following teaser for the upcoming “Elseworlds” crossover event.

Set on Earth-90 (possibly as a tribute to the 1990s “Flash” TV series), John Wesley Shipp’s version of The Flash crawls out of the devestation that has befallen his Earth. Amongst the rubble we can see fallen superheroes such as Stargirl, Firestorm, Captain Cold, and remnants of costumes like The Ray’s helmet… and what appears to be Justin Hartley’s Green Arrow from “Smallville”.

The Flash crawls towards a giant book… which is picked up by The Monitor who tells The Flash, “You failed”. When The Flash asks him why he’s doing this, The Monitor replies, “You did this to yourself… and now all of you will perish”. The Flash speeds away, presumably to seek help on other Earths across the Multiverse.

The special 3-night “Elseworlds” crossover event will begin in “The Flash” on Sunday, December 9 at 8.00pm ET, and then continue in “Arrow” on Monday, December 10 at 8.00pm ET, and will conclude with “Supergirl” on Tuesday, December 11 at 8.00pm ET.

Why oh why didn't they bring back Routh's and Cain's Supermen for this? Now that would have been something...

probably b/c they're both other characters in the universe. the swapping seems to only be with Barry and Oliver. They would've had to add the Legends to this in order to swap Routh's Atom and Tyler Hoechlin's Superman. I guess Cain's Superman could've been part of Shipp's universe, depending on what the story goes. Who knows...maybe if Hoechlin's Superman actually does get it's own series, he will be part of a crossover event with Cain? Cain's going to need to get back to the gym for that to happen though :lol

You make a fair point, but damnit, that would have been pretty cool ;)

This actually has my attention. Do not follow any of the CW stable but this could be good. I know to expect Batwoman but the door is open for all sorts of characters to appear.

Defo interested in tuning in Sunday.
