If you're wondering when the Poppies (and Peopele's Picks) voting will begin, have no fear - it should start next week, right no schedule. Ninety percent of the nominating is complete, and I've got started on the ballot, and there's some amazing choices.

The regular Hot Toys Suicide Squad Harley is there of course, and tonight I'm going to check out the 'prisoner' version. This is one of those all too common Hot Toys releases with a terrific portrait and paint, but very little elase to warrant the high price tag. You can find my complete review here:

or with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

There is something attractive about the simplicity of the figure, I might have to pick this up down the line. Is it weird that I would prefer that her toenails be painted?

I've always enjoyed reading your reviews Michael. Thanks for writing them and I hope that you will continue making them especially for Hot Toys figures.

If you don't mind sharing, what type of camera and lens do you use to take your pictures. They are very clear and sharp.

Thanks for the information! I also use a Nikon camera. I thought that using a longer macro lens (anywhere from 90 to 105) is better for taking product photos but you have shown me that the 60mm macro works very well too. I guess it is because the perspectives look more natural with the 60mm since it is closer to 50mm.
