1/6 Last Jedi Executioner Trooper review

Sorry I missed my Tuesday night review, but I took a day off for the holidays. It's time to get back at it!

I'm checking out the first sixth scale Last Jedi figure to hit the door - the Executioner Trooper from Hot Toys. There's some key improvements to the body suit that allow this guy to be more posable, which is a big plus...but I had some other issues that counter balanced things. You can find my review here:

Good review.

Lucasfilm clearly worked very hard and put a lot of thought into this unique trooper design.

Loved how the only thing these guys executed was my time watching that ****** movie.

Is it me, or is the helmet the same as the one they use for the TFA ones? Just the grills are different, and the grills look like they don't match.

Yep, they made even crappy troopers crappier looking. What would have been nice would have been to see an actual armor evolution like took place between AOTC and Sith, but I guess since we got a Star Wars bookend, they didn't feel they could do that, so they just give the ducks the buck tooth treatment.

..such a beautifully made trooper figure, its awesomeness cannot simply described through words...such wow its just only $200, what a deal!

I would like to add this to my collection at some point. Hoping for a good deal in a few months.

It is slightly different but the difference is minimal.

I have it...looks nice. Only issue is they covered the pegs with the pleather. Changing out pegs if ever necessary will require cutting.

I thought so too, but it can be done without cutting
