I hope I put this in the right place.
I am trying to get ideas, costs for a proper display for Jabba. He won't fit in my
Detolfs or bookcases.
Mine is on top of my tv unit right now but I would like something a little more dust free.

Thanks for imput and thoughts

Buy an acrylic cover for it, problem solved!

On top of my Entertainment center would be the ideal place for me, It will definitely draw a lot of attention from visitors.

I'll be dusting mine :lol

But I did buy him a dedicated TV/Entertainment center stand:

I'm still in the process of getting my office rearranged or I'd have current pictures... but there are 2 shelves underneath and 2 more on the right and left. I'm using them to display my vintage and modern 3 3/4" figures.

And here's what Jabba looks like with the shelves filled...

I bought this table from Value City. I plan on Cases for Collectables to make a acrylic display to go on top. It will be about $375 for a case to fit exactly on top and be about 23 inches high.

37" x 37" card table... cost about $60. Seems to be working fine. It will have some dust but heck I can't imagine its to clean in a cave anyway. :)

My husband plans to revamp an unused Tv unit for my Jabba and other collectibles. I has a big part on the right side for Jabba and a glass part on
the left side for a 12 inch figures or accessories plus there is storage in the bottom for my boxes. I will post pictures of progress once we start.

I bought my table at value city. It was $219. I wanted it big enough to make steps. If you go to the Jabba image thread you can see how they are coming too. Thanks guys for posting my pics. I was having a drunk moment that night! :D :D

Hello

The Jabba Acrylic Case was 34 X 18 X 18 from casesforcollectibles.com and the table is from IKEA. It was in the LACK Series its 35 X 25 X 18 I think. Heres the page on IKEA's website:
http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15564&catalogId=10103&storeId=12&productId=11411&langId=-1&categoryId=15799&chosenPartNumber=00095036

I basically built a shelf that sits one end on my desk and the other is attached to the wall with an "L" bracket". There's a little space there where the shelf hangs out. Had to build a special shelf that would be wide enough with board joints, though. Everything you need is at home depot.

The Jabba with a class case kind of looks like he's a pet in a terrarium. You just need some gravel and a few plants to finish the effect :lol

Ive sourced the items for a display cabinet project im doing

http://www.shopfittingwarehouse.co.uk/ - 3 lengths of chrome - 8 t junctions and 16 fixings £50

Ive sourced hinges, pulls and locks via :

http://www.technologylk.com/ - 6 x hinges, pulls and locks £100

The glass im getting locally 4 & 5 mm toughened with ground edges and lined with 3 mirrors at the back - £450

and Im getting a local joiner / friend to build it for me £150

This is what Im attempting :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIhmhog3Si0

A little avi to get the thing right in my head the chrome bars are shown coming out in this and its in 3 units as its gonna be very large and slot together

Well thats the hope

afterall its gonna cost me £750 to put together - and thats not with lights :google

and as my wife keeps saying "all this for some friggin dollies"

I had a shelf about the right size in the built-in cabinet I'm using as a computer desk. I extended the shelf out a bit with a board, made some stairs for either side of the throne, and then painted the whole deal with a sandstone texture paint.

When I move I'll most likely do a similar set-up inside an IKEA Pax wardrobe unit (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90121583), which is available with shelves 39 inches wide and 22 inches deep; so far it's the only freestanding shelf-type thing I'm aware of that really has room to display Jabba's throne inside.
