Berserk 12" figure by art of war...anyone own one?

Art of War also made some 8" Guts figures w/ pretty good detail. I'm currently on volume 13 of the manga, and have only watched a couple episodes of the anime.

are you sure? that looks more like the 8" figure.. I've seen the 12" before, and the head is really not that small... I have some more info on medi-world.. let me go dig it up for you guys.

Yeah, that looks like the 8" figure; the 12" has a cloth cape, and like snakebeater said, a bigger head.

I've actually got 2 of these figures, one on display and one still boxed (I hope to someday customize a battle-damaged version of Guts). There's also supposed to be a variant figure that got released, with blood stains on him. Pics I've seen of the bloody version didn't impress me enough to try and hunt it down.

The 12" Berserk figure is pretty cool... He comes with plastic armor painted to look like metal, a cloth cape, throwing daggers that he keeps in a pocketed bandolier across his chest, a crossbow that's molded in its folded-up form that stashes in a case at his back, and of course his giant sword.

A particularly nice touch is Guts' mechanical arm, which is diecast metal. It's hinged at the wrist, with the hand fixed in a grasp.

The figure is decently articulated but the joints can be a little flimsy, which limits the posing somewhat. Still, Guts has some really nice details, like the chains and buckles and straps, all the molded designs on his armor pieces, and the branded tattoo on his neck. He also comes with an alternate head, with his teeth bared in a mad grimace.

It's a great piece overall, and I definitely recommend picking one up if you're a fan of Berserk.

Dragon Guts is quite nice considering it was done years ago. His arm is really too skinny for Guts, so I used new HT muscular body for it. My Guts now belongs to somebody else....:monkey2

I was wondering when you'd chime in and post this awesome custom... the HT body makes it so much more proportional... meaning his head is smaller now.. hehe very nice KG!
