I am surprised so many people like these. They look so cheesy IMO, but that's just my opinion.

They're fun! I hate when things get taken too seriously, and a little Japanese charm is always in style. Trust me, when a RAH of this guy hits, it'll be just as awesome (probably more so!)

I was pretty skeptical when they were revealed at last year's Toy Fair. Mostly because I had high hopes about what else might have been hiding behind that Star Wars question mark.

I ordered Vader and two Stormtroopers, and then got the 501st Clone at SDCC and really started to like them. Now I have the TIE pilot as well as the Boba Fett--who won't stand up, unfortunately. He is top heavy and leaning too far forward and won't stand up on his own. I have come into my office several times to find him crashed down on to the floor, with his jetpack broken off, etc. (It popped right back on.)

But I will continue to get the masked villains as long as they put them out.

Yeah, I may be cutting Star Wars stuff from my collection, but these guys have survived every cut so far!!!

Yeah, they're too cool not to get IMO. They just add something cool to a collection.

These aren't put out by Sideshow, they are from Medicom. Sideshow is only a distributor for them. There are some that you can't even get from Sideshow.

I've thought about picking up a Fett, but I really don't need to start collecting any other lines so I'm kind of wary. ;)

Besides, I already have Kubricks and Galactic Heroes to fill the notch of "cute superdeformed" Star Wars guys.
