For the price they will charge for this, it would want to be!
I am eagerly awaiting the finished product of this...It's the main reason I held off buying/cancelled the SS Ex. I hope the gamble will be worth it..

i've said it before... for the prices they charge there is no reason why they shouldn't come up with something better than Sideshow. this is no disrespect to sideshow, but a compliment. at $1500+ a piece they need to be hitting homeruns every time they step up to the plate.

yeah... if i they shipped one to me like that i would seriously mark "return to sender" on the box and demand a FULL refund. he is like the "bizarro" version of Aragon.
~~however the Indie almost makes up for him.

They still need to work on Indy's face. He's supposed to have stubble, not a beard. I think that's one of the limitations with using real hair.

Even though it'll be as overpriced as all the other CMs this one stands a better chance of being good as so far CM seem to do better with non human likenesses. Should look good displayed with the Alien.

Out of your price range = Overpriced?

Indy looks great!! I think he looks like he's worth the money but just because someone says their overpriced doesn't mean out of someone's price range. That's a pretty cruddy thing to say. A lot of people would look at anything we buy here and say that.

I don't think anybody's disputing the fact the Indy looks great. It's just when people including myself look at this statue and see the $1500 price tag, we expect nothing short of perfection.
It's not a cruddy thing to see people saying that it's overpriced. It's an opinion and it's a forum. People and collectors all over have different salaries and different economic standings in different areas of the country and world. They also have differing opinions on everything ranging from music to the collectibles we collect. How many people do you know hate what we collect? I know I can name a few. But you know what, depending on the person you can either take the opinion, bad or good. To me, it's in one ear and out the other. In the end, it's all up to you alone if you want to purchase the collectible. They really don't have a say in it in the long run (unless your married like in my case...then your screwed :) )

I don't disagree with that this type of price tag that it should be perfect. I totally agree with that.
I didn't say it was cruddy to say it was overpriced. I said it was a cruddy thing to say if just because you said it was cruddy someone assuming its out of your price range.

Josh is correct.
Value and Affordable are not mutually exclusive.
Just because someone says something is "over-priced" or "too expensive" does not mean they can't afford it.

Yeah, I guess I went a little too far. I'm just sick of reading posts whining about the prices of things, whatever they may be. That seems to be the #1 gripe about CM, but if you want the best quality statues, you're going to pay. The same can be said for higher end pieces from any company.

I agree. If you want the higher end stuff be 1:6th or PF you will have to ante up.

This thing looks good so far. If this thing is only $1500.00 I would consider it a bargain given the Sideshow 1/4 costs $1000.00.
