Ugh, I hesitated before I put my oder in for the Flex Pay option. I sure hope I can afford him. I guess if I save up I can get it, it's still a ways off. This will be the most I've spent on one thing next to the whole Jabba package. It'll just be such a cool statue to display.

If the edition size is right, this exclusive has potenetial to be very valuable in the future. It has all it needs to be worth a lot: awesome character, excellent sculpt, nice base, and a rocking exclusive. But with all the hype, I doubt the edition size will be too small. Not that I have a problem with that, but it's always nice to have something extra valuable and sought after.:D

He's only 1/2 inch taller than Lurtz in the same scale.....I would have thought in "real life" WITH the horns, he would have been at least a foot or two taller, which translates to more than 1/2 inch in 1/4 scale....I could be wrong...I know that 23" x 4 is nearly 8 foot tall, so....maybe.:confused:

This will be a high ED, wonder if the regular version will have a lower ED than the exclusive? Has this ever been done? I don't see how the regular version will sell if the exclusive has a high ED. There are people buying this piece not so much because of the movie, but how good it looks. I am wavering because I don't like scary things in my house, but the design is so spectacular, it will give the other PF's a run for their money. Still not quite Doom but it's awesome.

Yes...Catholic priests have had their issues with molestation and they should pay for their crimes, but I have also seen Jewish as well as Muslim religious figures also get busted on programs like Dateline NBC for soliciting minors.

Darkness is a very cool figure but it is also a representation of evil in some people's mind. I think if a girlfriend, boyfriend, parent, husband, wife, or friend is somewhat skeptical of seeing something like that it's understandable.

I remember when Legend was on the extremely short list of fantasy films that didn't suck. Now after LOTR, Narnia, and the better HP films it is so mediocre. Still has a fun 80's vibe though. The execution of the Darkness character on both film and now in full body polystone are both fantastic though. But he definitely isn't for me. He'd get his butt whooped by all the "good" PF's I'll have the second he set cloved foot in my house. :cool: :D

Probably the reason I don't collect dildo's. What are the shipping costs based on? Size or weight? Thought it was weight, then again I am pretty sure I heard someone say it was based on size.

I used to be a collector of collectibles. Now I am a shipper. The shipping costs more than the collectibles I buy. So finally I have shaken the chains of collecting. Shipping is something I find less admirable and therefore easy to give up.

You know what's creepy, and it wasn't done intentionally... but I asked a question in the Ash thread in the Horror section whether or not I should get a PF Ash or Darkness, and I did it with... *gulp* post 666 I shat you not. Even ask Batty!

The reason I took so long to order Darkness because as a child one of my babysitters scared me endlessly with stories of the devil... for weeks on end I had nightmares. It would drive me crazy. Why would a 20 something-year-old tell an 11-year-old such stories?! Kind of creepy.

I would look early though, the reg ES is fairly limited, I think only 750 Regs and 500 Exclusives, not a lot to go around so these things are gonna get very expensive very fast IMO. I also recommend getting on the waitlist.

I am so glad I preordered the Darkness PF over the Ash. While I enjoyed Army of Darkness more and probably even the character, I prefer the design and the actual look of the PF of Darkness much much more! I had to go with the much nicer piece! Congratulations on the exclusive. I went with the regular. I saved 55 bucks this way and shipping should be cheaper because it's near by where I am getting it from. I didn't feel that the unicorn piece was worth the extra 55 bucks. It's not like the Captain America exclusive where you want the additional accessories.
