If SSC can't at least figure out real fur for a PF Chewie then they should allow Cinemaquette to do it.

Sculpted hair may be the only option. The problem I see would be the glue used on the hair would dry out over time which would lead to Chewie having full body male pattern baldness :D

I have little to no interest in the character itself.

But that is one of the few times that I have looked at a picture of a PF and had to really look closely to tell whether it was a statue or a picture of the real actor. It's extremely realistic.

A medieval Kurgan PF would probably sell 500-1000 pieces. The armor alone would make people want it even if they didn't know the character.

Well, it's a great and memorable creature design. One of the greatest villain designs in movie history, I would even say. But I have never been a big scary monster/creature fan. You also won't find me purchasing any Alien or Predator stuff from Sideshow. I recognize the quality, that's for dang sure--I'm just not drawn to the scary characters as much. I just always tend to root for the good guys. (And in Legend, the good guy was lame.)

I was ready to order the 1:1 bust when it was released, but I decided against having a big devil head in my home.

A 1/4 scale devil is okay though... :lol

I hope he is suffereing in the land fill where he lay !!

I just watched it for the first time last night, and it does suck. But the character design for the Darkness was awesome. I'm still ordering the statue though.
