I know this is a bit of a stretch but look on the side of the box next to Leia

The photos are kind of dark, but you can see the Ringwraith animaquette here:

This is the line that I can't fathom for the love of Eru...
But I suppose it's nice, for those who can. Love their busts, of course.

Looks cool. Not sure if I'll get the Ringwraith or not.

The animated Ringwraith on Steed looks fantastic. I'm trying to resist any GG LOTR releases but some of them are awfully tempting.... :lol

If the Legolas and Gimli are both in one piece then I'm in for that piece at least.

Is this Haldir? I could only think of him. The sword looks like the one he carries in the movies, a larger version of hadhafang.
Sam's armour looks nice I think better than Frodo's. Elrond's likeness looks good but he just looks a little 'too young'.

That's "Glorfindel", a videogame character that uses a name left over from the Tolkien book licence.
...No, I don't know either. I blame Microsoft and their Xbox thingamajiggy.
It's the only GG LOTR bust I wouldn't get even if it was given to me free of charge. All the others, including Elrond after the new pictures, look brilliant.

The bust looks great but of no interest to me. I hope that's an exclusive so I don't have to be worried about getting it.

If it's a Con Exclusive I'll get it otherwise I'll pass.

Shouldn't the Ringwraiths horse be black and not brown.

That's the first thing that came to my mind after looking at the pictures. The horse is supposed to be black!! The wraith looks good though!

Well, even the RWOS has a brownish skin tone... Not as pronounced as this one, but it's not perfectly black.
(In the story, these horses were supposedly stolen from Rohan, not bred in Mordor.)

These would only make sense if LOTR had been a series of animated films. And these are certainly NOT from the Bakshi debacle. I want items that look as much as possible as the people in the films. I am not interested in some super stylized cartoon version of reality. No thank you.

I have no interest in this series whatsoever. It's not based on anything I have ever seen or heard of... unless there is some Saturday morning cartoon series I'm not aware of?

There isn't.
GG just liked the response to their Clone Wars-inspired SW maquettes, so they are now trying to get the same audience into LOTR. It's silly, but apparently there's a market for it.
I can just shrug and care less...

Well, if there's a market for it why not! You can't blame GG for trying. I just know they won't be seeing any of my money....as for their busts, well that just might be another story...

Right! Can't blame them if people will buy it. I'm gonna get the Fellowship but that's it basically. I'm getting Saruman cause he's the first piece.

I think they actually look pretty cool, but I'm not gonna get any. Poly statues it stays for me!

I have absolutely no interest in cartoony LOTR pieces. The ringwraith on steed looks interesting but I'll be passing.

Truth be told, that Saruman DOES look nice. Not that I'll be getting this... but yes, their ES seems pretty low, so there should be enough demand for that number.

I heard that around here before. Not specifically from you but just from all of us collectors in general. It's a disease I tell ya!

It is. However, I want other items more so I know I have to limit this line.

:rotfl :rotfl I don't think a lot of people would get that reference, but I think it's hilarious...
