Question about the T-1000 12"?

i really like this fig but anyone else have one where the whites of his eyes are the same color as the skin? it's like the painter doesn't clean the brush or something. had to send Bespin Han back because it was so bad.

also, what parts of the bod are magnetised? o have like 20 of the lil bullet hits but seems like they'll only stick to 2 parts of his chest. pec/man boob region. coulda swore i saw a pic w/ the hits placed on his legs and abdomen. thanks

Sometimes the paint wash bleeds over the eyes giving figures a bloodshot, or glazed look. I have found, and I did this with my T-1000, that if you dab a q-tip in some isopropyl alcohol and gently rub over the eyes it will remove most of this wash since it was applied over the sealed paint layer underneath it won't take off the paint on the eyes. I call this my "Visine" trick and it has come in handy quite a few times.

The magnets in his shirt are only on the right and left pockets. I ended up going to a craft store and buying some thin adhesive-backed magnetic strips for a buck and cutting the strips and attaching them to other parts of his shirt so I could make the bullets hit higher or lower on the shirt. Another neat upgrade.

It has a magnetized chest, other smaller magnet bullet hits can be placed inside the shirt at different location to affix hits outside the shirt...

Thanks Dave! i'll try the alcohol on the eyes now. wonder how thin i can find some magnet strips.

P, i skimmed thru that thread but it's so long i musta missed it. figured it had been covered before but that's what message boards are for, the sharing of info! and if Dave's eye trick works, he'll have saved me from sending Austin back.
