Since we are preordering the first diorama tonight what else do you all want to be included in this line.

I think these would be some good ideas anyone have any other ones.

The revealing of Gandalf the White
Riding to Edoras, Gandalf Aragorn Legolas and Gimli all on horses
Balrog vs. Gandalf

Who makes these??? That's the first time I've seen them. These pieces look very small but I love all the diorama ideas. Comeone Sideshow, give us an Entmoot diorama!:D

These are cool...look very much like customs done with the SMALL Games Workshop pieces. However, these would all be very cool in the Diorama line!

Gandalf and Frodo on Gandalfs cart riding into Hobbiton, and Merry and pippin on Treebeard would be good. I think everyone would like to see a Gandalf v Balrog diorama, this could be soooooo cool :rock

I think that this line will be one where painting and sculpting will be minimal, in terms of complexity of the piece and not in artistic skill, mind you. The initial piece, the one kicking off the line, has pretty much set the tempo, style, design, price point, etc., of the line. The attention and majority of the detailing went to two of the simpliest looking (in term of costuming) characters, which would be easy to mold/cast and paint (think Chinese girl sitting on box at factory...) I honestly do not expect to see the Fellowship Nine "together", for example. Each character there would be WAY to intricate to paint individually, let alone "9" in total. If it were to happen, the price would definitely be considerably higher.

But I can see characters such as the Ringwraiths being done (though not on their steeds), or perhaps Frodo and Sam or Orc and a Hero, etc. Beasts such as a Fellbeast with Witchking vs Eowyn is a possibility as well. I just don't see complicated pieces coming in this line based on what the initial release is dictating.*





*Then again, I may be completely off and the following environment pieces will be chock full of "environment" and of multiple characters... (I hope...) ;)

Soloblaster...As someone who also constructs dioramas (mine from AOME figures) I would love to know where you found these. They are fantastic. If you can provide us with more info that would be most appreciated.

My top request would be for GROND. Front part with trolls and orcs and fire and the whole nine yards. Of course, based on the initial DOOM offering, this has as much chance as a life sized Barad-dur diorama. It looks like we are going to get few figures, sparser landscape and a low price point. What a letdown. FlyandFight is probably correct.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the two of you. The bar has been set pretty low. I suspect there will be alot of people less than enamored when they finally get their hands on this. Hopefully SS won't ignore the PF and legendary busts lines [any further than they already have, that is] and concentrate solely on this new line.

Yep, and I fully intend to get the PFs that tickle my fancy. Lurtz and Frodo didn't, but I'd hate to miss the chance for, say, a PF Éowyn because of that...
