How much is Exclusive worth?

I have Strider 12" Exclusive. Cost me approx. $115 US to hold him in my hands, ordering directly from SS..

I didn't order Legolas or Boromir because I have the SSW statues. I did order Faramir.

Now I see a Legolas regular edition go for $30 at times. And seeing all those pics, this format is starting to grow on me. (aaahhhh....) In a way I feel like only the Excl is worth having but that one is going for $80 right now. Is it worth the $50 to have the cloak and extra hand?

The hand no, but how can you get these figures without their Fellowship cloaks -- I would think they are essential.

Totally depends on how much the cloak means to you. For me, exclusive all the way. In the Star Wars line, it differs for me. Got exclusive Han because the mynock was just too cool. Exclusive Fisto. A tiny severed robot head? Not worth the extra dough. Exclusive Qui-Gon. Cool exclusive cloak. A must have. Darth Maul...broken light sabre. Nah. All depends on which of those little bits turn you on. For the PF Lurtz, I had to have the bow. Too integral to his character for me to pass up. Going non exclusive can save you a TON of dough though.

I have the Legolas Exclusive and have posed him with and without the cloak. The Cloak is worth the extra cash IMHO, he just doesn't look right without it...

The Lothlorien capes are essential for me... that is why I REALLY want my Boromir wait listing to convert. The severed Orc head doesn't do too much for me... but the Fellowship needs their capes!!!

I didn't get the Aragorn excluisve because the pipe and cloak was essential... I'd probably leave them in the box anyway. Besides, snagging Aragorn on Evilbay for only $30 was VERY easy on my wallet. Now I just need to get Aragorn a cape. :confused:

I am on the fence about the Faramir exclusive. I'm beginning to think that the cloven horn isn't that essential. I might go the Evilbay route of Aragorn and cancel the exclusive... or I might use my Reward Points and pre-order the regular.

The elven cloak is a must-have, in my opinion. I only wish it was available as a separate item so that I could order one for Aragorn.

The elven cloak is cool, but right now I don't even have Legolas displayed with it. And theres a good chance I wont be displaying him with it any time soon.

I collect the horror stuff and I dont really worry about excl. most times but there are some exclusive versions of jason I suppose I would like, But FVJ Jason for ex. Is 45 for the reg. and Ive seen the exclusive version go for over 150 bucks! Im not going to pay a hundred dollars for a bear. However the extra money would be well worth it on a figure like T-1000 cus you get those huge hooks or Jason pt 6 that comes with a severed arm with the machette.
