American Horror Story Season 5 - HOTEL

Surprised there is no thread on this !? Or did I missed it ?

While it was very graphic instead of scary (once again) ... I liked it quite a bit ! Better then Season 3 for sure... seams also more my likeness then last season..

DVR'd it.

Wasn't impressed with the circus one.....

I watched it, its a good series, my wife is a big fan so I watch it with her as she watches my shows with me. This particular season hasn't gripped me yet, just violent and edgy as apposed to real horror. Season one is still my favorite followed by the freakshow, then asylum, then the witch season being my least favorite.

This show has gone downhill for me. I'm passing on this. Especially since they are advertising the piss out of Lady Gaga being in it. If it turns out to be good, I'll binge watch later. But the last two seasons have sucked IMO.

im with you guys.. the last 2 season were bad.. specially the witches one.. that was like a teen series..

I really wished they would go back to the sense of the first season... were it was all more about horror fear and mystic .. not so graphic and full of bloddy violent sex-driven nasty stuff...thats not scary

I cut that season off after watching Precious rub one out with the creature thing. That was enough for me.

I have only seen Season 1 & 2. Loved Season 1 but 2 kind of fell sort for me. Have not seen Coven or Freakshow. Watched the first Episode of Hotel. Not much there as far a story. Great visuals but bored as far as story. I also think they ran Eagles Hotel California way to early in the season. Should have waited closer to the end or season finale.!

We tried watching it late last night but turned it off after 10 minutes. If it would have sucked us in right away like previous seasons, we would have stayed up. We're definitely watching it tonight regardless if it's good, bad, or somewhere in between.

I'd say that Asylum has been my favorite season so far.

How are Coven and Freakshow?

Coven was horrible.. Freak Show a tat better IMO ... Season 1 and 2 were the best IMO

still for some reason does not drag me in... again.. this series seams to be all over the place.. always the main issue for AHS... to many actors forcing them into screen time IMO

I like how they tied season 2 and 4 together

It's getting good thought i'd hate Ga Ga but not bad it's getting good only 2 eps so far.

The show needs to pull away from all the stylized "music video" shots. After only two episodes I'm getting bored of it. Fell asleep watching episode 2 rewatched yesterday. The show is shot with "high end porn" lighting!!

How good is FREAKSHOW compared to the other three finished seasons? I have only seen the first two. Loved Murder House but Asylum was average or maybe below. The hole show felt like sets or a play

Freakshow started good, then killed off the clown and got bad, then very bad then showed some promise only to end bad.

I'm digging Hotel so far. I like the 80's vibe it's giving off. Better than the last 2 seasons.

I think Freakshow was the weakest one so far, but that's just my opinion.
