Never been a fan of busts, especially life size ones. It's like you decapitated our heroes and display their heads on the mantel!

Not for me as I haven't got the space but if they get the likeness down right I'm sure it'll be an impressive piece. :)

So this will probably be like $1000 or more......

Very cool, but it is gonna be to big and too expensive for me.

Can't wait to see where they're going with this--are they busts or life-size figures? Life-size figures don't seem to sell that well from what I've seen. Didn't SS just pull their life-size Darth Vader and Boba Fett from the site?

I'm not fond of life size figures, they just look like mannequins. It's certainly not something I would want displayed in my house. Busts look nice, they just take up so much room.

Might be just helmets/masks of the characters..which I would like!

Don't think these are going to be for sale. They have a future event in Hysan where there will be life size statues for Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, HB and Ultron. This looks to be for that special event.

They'll be showing off their 1/6 Age of Ultron figures there as well. Was the same thing as last year in the exact same location.

Maybe they are drifting into replicas and the likenesses would be the base? The display pieces would be more probably in line with what is going on.

Well I can think of a couple 1:1 Avengers I'd rather have in my house than Cap....

Yeah! Iron Man, Hulkbuster...oh you meant the girls...yeah, they'd be good too. :lol

Let's give a huge round of applause to Hot Toys for actually posing these displays for a change! :clap

Honestly, I'm betting these are just for promotional purposes, as well, but it would be awesome to see them start something like this for the uber rich people. I always look at those Life-Size Batman statues that companies charge $8K for, and they're terrible. They're poorly painted and they're often in awkward poses, and you're just like "who would pay that much for something that looks like that?" An HT quality, fully articulated life-size Cap, though? If I won the Powerball, I know what I'd be going after.:lol That's one of the good ideas I saw come out of Sideshow, though; the articulation on their Boba Fett and Vader. It just makes sense; let the consumer choose how they want their display to look.

as much as I would love a life size Chris Evans... I don't see this happening as something for sale. :lol

Plus, I would never buy a life size anything... can't even imagine how much HT would charge for something like that.

Could be cool. If they do iron man helmets I'm in. I ordered the imaginarium starboost 1:1. It's shipped but on a slow boat from Singapore so it's taking forever. But given the price and shipping and how hard it is to find if much rather go with a hot toys version. Even this Cap head looks great.

I agree it does look odd, as a 1:1 bust...the whole decap thing. I've also never been a fan of statue busts. But...I may expand my collection again.

This thing is kinda creepy looking... accurate, but creepy.
