Yeah, this line is gonna be pretty cool. I know that this is not how the movie was but I think these will be items that will be fun to just collect.

I actually like these animated ones. Gandalf is a little too extreme for me, but Saruman is just wonderful!!!

Wow, small edition size, but comparable to the SS 1/6 figures vs. Star Wars edition sizes. Glad I have it on pre-order along with Gandalf...at 1500, these might be tough to track down once everyone sees how cool they look and wants one! I'm starting to get addicted to these 'animated maquettes' after grabbing the Boba Fett, Leia/R2-D2 and Dath Vader (LOL!) from the Star Wars line...You know what I'd LOVE to see...an 'animated' style Indiana Jones...as if you couldn't guess! :D

I actually prefer the Gandalf more. This line will be cool though. I don't see myself getting more than the Fellowship + a couple others.

Yeah, thats a good edition, the WETA bust were around that size and took time to sell. Saruman looks great.
