Ok, ok.....the title is misleading, I know.....

This is one PF that I've been waiting eagerly for....so for those of you lucky enough to get the PF figure (or is it figures?) earlier than the rest of us......

I don't get why people need more than one thread to discuss a single toy.

IE: "Darth Maul Pre-order" thread, "Darth Maul Image" thread, "Darth Maul crooked tatoo" thread, "Darth Maul is 1/435789th too short" thread, "Darth Maul is pretty dang spiffy" thread, "Darth Maul wait list" thread, et al...

Well, after the first page, you find the same number of pics on the Jabba image thread, so there you go.

As to the subject of "Too Many Threads" the way I see it is: if the thread has any merit, people will post. If not, then it'll get shuffled down the page and eventually dissappear to the back pages where no one ever goes.

You know, all jokes aside for one moment here.

First off to all not involved in this continual debacle that is the so-called "medi vs. RS rivalry", I apologize that anything I've posted to these boards has resulted in negative comments by any single former RS board member who feels it is continually necessary to jab at RS whenever the opportunity arises. (Hence my reluctance to post here more frequently).

I feel it is vitally important to address the entire "Nazi admin" thing directly. Jabs are jabs, and jokes are jokes, but to compare the administration of an online forum about effing toys with the National Socialism movement is not only uneducated, but also highly offensive to anyone who can't track their family history further than three generations. I highly doubt that this board's membership and readership is completely devoid of people who's lives have been either directly or indirectly effected by the Nazi movement.

So, Mr. Miyasato, if you find it beyond your control to contribute without throwing some ill-intended slag my way, please try to come up with something a little less abhorrent to other people. Surely a man of your intellect can come up with a better platform in which to articulate your malcontent.

And just to insure that I'm as light hearted about all this as ever, let me throw a nice little smiley face at the end of this to let everyone know that I'm only kidding around.

I was going to get rid of the Nazi references, but since Dave chose to address it, I'll leave the other posts.

Different boards have different styles, and different audiences. Arguing about those styles really isn't the function of this board.

Perhaps someone would like to start a discussion forum to discuss forums...THAT would be a good place for such topics.

I'm also beginning to feel like the "pic" threads that actually have first pics are becoming the exception rather than the rule. It is something that may need regulating.
