My friend pointed out that I "****ing love revenge movies" and upon further inspection, he's totally right. 4 out of my top 5 favorite movies are revenge movies. I guess I just have a fetish for retribution.

Boy, you listed a bunch of them. Unforgiven comes to mind, and that's just a phenomenal piece of filmmaking. Though it's not necessarily a favorite, but it is a damn good movie, I Saw The Devil's another one.

As I was making the list, Unforgiven came to mind because I haven't seen it, which is a crime. Will watch soon though. I saw the Devil is amazing! I can't believe I forgot that one.

The Eastwood thing also brings me back to The Outlaw Josey Wales. There are a ton of revenge themed Westerns, though, really. The Searchers, both True Grits; hell, For a Few Dollars More is another one.

Yeah, good suggestion. It is a great movie.

I guess some of you guys here would like Elite Squad 1 and 2. Two Brazilian movies about the police in Rio. There are some good revenge parts in it.

Nice, I'll check those out. That's was why I started this thread, to find out about possible new revenge movies.
