My vote is based on as if both characters are fighting each other in Thunderdome. In this case:

The Godfather has no offer that can change Rambo's mind.
McClane would blow up the Death Star with Solo in it.
Bates has no time for Sparrow's jibber jabba.
Matrix dismembers The Joker with slaw blades and a big ****ing knife.
Dirty Harry blows Rocky's head clean off.

Ha ha, not sure if it's sarcasm or if your being serious. I picked the Joker, but if I were going to argue against him, I would base it off the fact that Ledger "borrowed" his performance from Malcom McDowell's portrayel of Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange. Still, the fact that he connected the two character's for me, was brilliant. Matrix is pure cheese, while Joker is well thought out, defined and realized on-screen.

Perhaps if there is a new tournament to find the Most Homicidal character, your method would be more rewarding.
