A lifesize wampa, would be great. You could put it next to the
GG Luke on Taun Taun. :D :lol :|

Gazmog

Better get started on building that sports hall. :lol

:google Check out that lifesize CW Maquette standing next to Yoda.

Damn, I'm going to have the entire SW cast and props in life-size form! :lol

TURINS BANE

Yeah Gaz, that lifesize Ranca, is really going to take some space up. I don't think I'ts going to fit on any of my shelfs. :bonk

Seriously, I might get this over the Maul 1:1, depending on price. It has real cloth and hair! Fantastic!

TURINS BANE
07-14-2005, 10:23 AM
Yeah, I wouldn't mind a lifesize Yoda. It wouldn't be to big, but
I'm not sure, if I would prefer an OT Yoda.

Gazmog

OMG, this is getting crazy.

"Hi Honey, I'm back!"
"How was it? See anything you liked?"
"Errrrmmmm, promise me you won't get mad."
"What have you done?"
"It's okay, really, I've just used our house as security on a lifesize Jabba the Hutt statue. We'll be fine."
"You what? Have you completely lost it, bozo?"
"Relax, babe, I am able to pay by Flex Pay. 24 monthly installments at $1000."
"I knew I should have listened to my father. He said you were no good...and he's right."
"Oh, sweetie, don't worry about a thing. Once we have the extension constructed to house them, it'll work out fine."
"Them????"
"Yeah, didn't I tell ya? I have to collect them all...so...it will be a little bit more."
"You &^%$"!"
"Now, put that knife down, babe. I can't afford medicare anymore, so please don't hurt me."

:lol

OMG, this is getting crazy.

:lol Yeah, thanks for putting things in perspective Gaz. It really is getting out of hand. I just see so much more stuff that I want than what was shown at Toyfair. Gotta draw the line somewhere, and this is that line. I'll pass.

I agree Gruson, a lifesize Empire Yoda is a no-brainer. :speech

Any further word on this?
I wonder is Sideshow wants to do a Yoda full scale as well?

I wonder where they'll take merchandise next... larger than life-sized seems a bit pointless, so my guess is the subjects picked for 1:1 replicas will get bigger. I'm half expecting someone to start making 1:1 Star Wars vehicles someday... an X-Wing with moveable wings and cockpit, that comes with an astromech droid of your choice. They could organise drive-in Star Wars marathons where everyone sits in their fighter or speeder of choice.

The Yoda isn't all that bad though, I might even concider a reasonably priced ESB one at that.

Freekin awesome!!!! I'll be all over this, and the CW version too if they are actually planning on making it as well.

We definitely need a new OT lifesize Yoda. The old Illusive Concepts version is almost impossible to get in excellent condition anymore.

Actually there WAS a company that made a few 1:1 X-Wings complete with astromech droid a few years ago. There was a thread a while back that someone started about an Ebay auction on one of them with bidding beginning at $40,000.

Whoa, now that does look pretty darn cool. Was there any word on when this might be coming out? I'd love to get it, but at this rate my credit card might actually disown me . . . :)

Damn ! I have the Yoda lifesize from Rubies, but this one looks better. I think I will have both.

Sir Tristram
07-15-2005, 08:51 AM

Look at that! Even his sabers lights up! SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! :rock

elwood49

I wonder if Sideshow will try and one-up them by doing a 1:1 Ep. V Yoda with Dagobah base. I would DEFINITELY buy that. $1,500 price tag or not.

Sir Tristram
07-15-2005, 09:13 AM
I'm up for that, too!
Bring it on Sideshow!

At least we know it wouldn't cost as much as the T-800!!!

RodLonghi
07-15-2005, 09:21 AM
Yeah. but I expect the price to be around 600 .

Sir Tristram
07-15-2005, 09:22 AM
I don't mind that! Especially if they offer a payment plan...but even if they don't! I'd dump that Maul bust in a parsec to grab one of those nifty Yoda's!

hairlesswookiee
07-15-2005, 09:25 AM
yes i have the illusvie concepts yoda and i would love to get one from SS for ESB. i would pay $1000 or so for it. especially with the flex pay.

According to SSG, Yoda will go into production next year with a price point of $800 with a shipping prediction of $100. :speech

This is one of the coolest things at the show. Its so real looking that its was hard to believe they made it look so real. Yes, it will cost $800.

elwood49
07-17-2005, 08:16 AM
$800 is pretty good, when Maul bust costs $600. If dealers get their hands on this, then it will be even cheaper. Pretty good price on what looks to be the best Yoda yet.

Oxbeard
07-17-2005, 08:40 AM
Josh, could you tell what it is made out of?

jlcmsu
07-17-2005, 09:12 AM
Yeah, I got nose 2 nose with it. I didn't touch it of course but it appeared to be made out of some kind of rubber.

Sir Tristram
07-17-2005, 09:13 AM
Oh, I'm getting one! DEFINITELY!

Oxbeard
07-17-2005, 12:16 PM
Cool, thanks Josh!!

RodLonghi
07-19-2005, 09:45 PM
I'll get one if i can find it for around 650 from the board dealers.

TURINS BANE
