Great pulp era hero and with this news......well, it could be a winner.

Aren't The Shadow and The Phantom DC characters now?

King Features still owns the Phantom. Conde Nast (I think) still owns the Shadow. When DC or another company does comics of these characters its licensing. Like Star Wars or Buffy. Thats why Moonstone currently has Phantom and Dark Horse was the last company to offer up The Shadow in comics form. Whoever pays the most for the license gets it. So, no DC exclusivity...therefore no DC Direct only memorabilia. Sideshow could do it. Someone certainly will. I just wish it to be SSC.

I'd be up for an Alec Baldwin movie Shadow.

i've always been a fan of the character. I used to read the comics when I was little and thought the film was totally underrated.

OMG I would totally buy a Shadow....preferably an '87 to '89 Kyle Baker or Bill Seinkiewicz version....that is one of my favorite comic runs ever...too bad they got yanked off of it before it was done. :banghead

I'm in for the Shadow as well! That would be fantastic! I'd say keep his likeness close to the Pulp magazive covers for a classic Shadow look.

I'd love some classic versions of the Shadow and Phantom but please no hollywood versions. :monkey3

Baldwin:monkey4 :monkey4 :monkey4 :monkey4
I wanted to breathe some life into this thread. Considering Sideshow is selling Phantom rings already (which I own:rock) why not a 1:6 Phantom figure? I personally like the design of the movie Phantom and would gladly buy one. The same goes for the Shadow, another all-time favorite.

I'd buy both of those too. A Chaykin Shadow would be alright too, but the Seinkiewicz and Baker ones would be far more desirable. All said though, I'd want an Alec Baldwin one most of all.

I like the design of the movie Phantom as well. So much so, I got Spenser to make one for me :D

Same goes for the Shadow. I would like to see one made as well. Spenser does a pretty good version of him too
