Glue recommendations?

Sorry if there's a thread on this, I couldn't find one. I've got several PVC figures that need some minor fixes... For instance Jonah from Jormungand is holding his weapon but it hovers over his hand without sticking to it, another figure holds a particularly large weapon at an awkward angle that makes it want to fall off the shoulder, and I just got Okabe from Stein's Gate and his base has no pegs- accident waiting to happen! I'm looking for something not too harsh that'll do the job hopefully without melting/fusing the plastic... any ideas?
