I'm looking for a 1/6 body, but I don't know which are the real deal and which are knock-offs.

I know that Headplay bodies are copied from Hot Toys Truetype bodies.

Are Kumik copies of anything? Does anyone know of some reasonably priced non bootlegs?

If I could buy a Hot Toys body without ridiculous import charges and a stupid overly high price I would, for now I'll get the $20 body, it's not like Headplay are really the only people doing bodies, if HT cared enough they would stop it.

The True type clones are actually superior to the HT originals. The knees and elbows use a nut and bolt in their design to allow tightness adjustment. The HT ones use a self tapping screw and plastic insert, which could strip if overtightened.

I am aware that the copies are good quality, I bought a headplay body (not knowing it was a recasting).
Again, does anyone have info on Kumik?
