Hi,

I've been looking for some time now for something I could use for grated flooring ("flowforge flooring" in 1/6 scale) for use in creating 1/6 scale figure dioramas. If you've found something even in the "neighborhood" please let me know - thanks!

Kind Regards,
Ken

Hey dude I know that you can find them in hobby stores cause I had my hands on some but stupid me didn't buy it, I don't know what stores you have where you are from but I was in Niagara Falls New York last weekend picking up some supplies and I saw almost the exact same stuff in rolls and in squares like tiles, very thin and would work great and I'm pretty sure the store was called the hobby lobby, check their website although I don't know what it's called butif you have one in your area check it out, I will be heading to the states again soon and can snap some pics if it's something you want maybe I can pick it up for you, lemme know I will see if I can find a pic on their site also

Thanks Shapeshifter - I contacted Hobby Lobby (they're a chain of stores) and they said they didn't have anything. Since you mention it rolled up, it probably isn't going to be what I need as I need it to be strong enough to hold a figure, not like fabric, but stiff like plastic or wood, as it will be used as flooring to hold some figures on a raised platform like in the photo above (though if they have tiles, then that might work if they're strong enough). But if you do see anything that might work and can get an item number or what it's called, that would be great!

Thank you.

Kind Regards,
Ken

No problem dude but even the stuff that was rolled was strong, not like tight rolled, like dryer vent rolled lol the tile type one would be as strong also, I will be heading down there again soon, last weekend when I crossed the border it was a less than pleasant experience for no reason at all but that don't stop me haha I will take some pics and some item numbers and hook ya up

You can custom photo etch the flooring, I just don't know if the costs will work out for what you have in mind. Only one way to find out...

Here's a list of some places that do custom etching:

Some pre-made stuff, holes slightly larger than you need: https://www.archiexpo.com/prod/amic...-panels-rectangular-holes-106973-1297405.html

A lot of places will fabricate this for you too. Either places that already do perforated sheet by trade, or most any place that does laser or water jet cutting.
