I know, its the worst Batman movie ever, but the 1:1 satue is one of the best I have seen.
The body and cowl are made of polyester and the face insert is made of a sort of foam.

I bought it early this year in a car parts shop in Holland.
It was a good buy, I did not pay much for it.

The reason for this price was the overall damage, especially on the face.
But this did not hold me back to buy it.
My hobby is making models so I figured I could repair this one myselve.

Some pictures:
This how I bougt it, there is also a stand with it but not on the pictures.

The damage on the cowl was the worst.

There were also big cracks on both sides which I repaired with polyester.

the eye socket I dremelt out and filled in whith modelling putty.

Hello again !

After filling and sanding the first coat of primer was addet.

As you can see a big improvement.

Whith the Clooney face inside.

I also sanded and resprayed the body items in semiglos black.
I prefer this color over the original bluish color.

the rest will be sprayed with plastydip for a more rubbery effect.

The latest pictures.

I hope you like it so far, i still have to ad some detail to the face.

I will post more pictures when this Batman is finished.

Those are the ones from the Besta line, they are ajustable in hight.

You are fast, I was still correcting my English writing.

Thank's for the compliment.

Dude, who cares if the movie was lame... that is an AWESOME addition to any collection. How many people can say 'I have Batman in my room!'? Even if it was... Kevin Smith dressed as Batman... a 1:1 scale is so much win.

Great job cleaning him up!

Excellent Job on the Restoration and Process, Really Dig your Layout with the Batwing on a podium but where did you get those risers for the bottom of your Detolf's or did you create them? Impressive Post

Thank you !

Those are from the, Ikea, Besta line.
They are ajustable in hight.

Podium is selfmade, Batwing is a 1/25 kit with selfmade stand.

You mean that the car shop was giving customers a treat with a chance to whack Clooney Batman in the face while waiting for your oil change? SWEET! Why did you had to take that away?

Kidding. Cool find. Nice restoration too!

Wow you cleaned that up and restored it great!

But I have to ask do you ever touch the Bat Nips?
