http://statueforum.com/ The Statue Forum is great place for discussing collectible statues from all different manufacturers.

Agreed. I have dual-citizenship here and there, as do many other SSF members.

SF is a great place to discuss many different companies, which will ultimately
make you that much more broke due to so many amazing things to purchase. :lol

Seems like this thread got shorter................ ;)

I'm a member of SF too. I don't post much, but it is a good place to get info about things that aren't discussed here that much.

That is very true Vader Al. They do have a lot of non-SS threads over there. Pretty much the only reason I go over there. Everybody's so $$$ oriented and not enough love for collecting like here.

Don't agree. People just seem to collect more lines over there. Certainly there is an element of people selling for profit but its no a true reflection of the collectors. I buy to keep, not to sell.....but what harm is there to buy items which might be more valuable in the future anyway?

Perhaps I was a little quick and unfair on my assumptions of the collectors at statue forum. There is no harm in buying items that will be more valuable in the future, that is what drives the industry. But when someone like Vader Al posts a link to a statue/bust that might be cheaper in price compared to the price put up by the runners of statueforum and is told to not do that, I find that odd. Some people may not have a lot of money and want to get a statue/bust for the cheapest price possible to add to their collection. I find it counterproductive to not allow external website and retailers for statues/busts. I of course could have misunderstood, but to me, that is the impression I got.

You can insert a cyanide pill into each figure and statue. If one were to attempt to flip it, the sensor would go off and the pill would exploding rendering the flipper unconscious or worse. I think that would be an effective way to stop it. :emperor :emperor

Your registration has to be accepted/verified before you will have permission to post--you can't begin posting immediately and I think it took a day or two for me when I joined. How long ago did you register?

Like 6 months ago.I tried posting after registering and it would'nt let me so I just said screw it and never solved the issue.I'm already on this board and Mediworld so it was'nt that important, but now I'm really wanting to post over there.

It sounds like you aren't verified. Email the webmaster over there tell them you never got the verification email. That happens about 80% of the time here and I have to manually approve people.

As many of you know, I have not been on much. Part is because of my busy personal life, part is because it's not that enjoyable any longer. I have seen a trend that is now going to stop. It is becoming way too easy to slam people on this forum.
You have contributors like Randy Bowen that get slammed for any decision he makes. He even asked publicly to give him some slack. When the Witchblade exclusive came out, everyone was slamming because it wasn't being shipped fast enough. Clay Moore was trying to help and instead of some fans being a bit patient, they crucified Moore and me. Hard Hero gets slammed if there are not enough updates or if the color is not exactly to their liking. Gentle Giant is getting bashed constantly as well. Members get made fun of if they collect a series that you might not like or if their collection is not up to a specific standard. I get slammed if I charge before I receive a product so I can ship quicker or if I charge after I receive it because I'm taking too long to ship.
Bottom line, there is always that handful of members that feel the need to slam. You read some of their posts and they are always negative. If they have anything to say, it will never be positive. Well, that stops now.
This used to be a place that members would enjoy their hobby. They would make a ton of friends and if they had a problem, they would work it out privately. But now you have the same few that will always find something bad to say and then it spreads like a disease.
Starting now, any post that goes into that direction will be deleted and the member warned. If it's done again, they will be booted. This is not up for debate or discussion.
If BD makes a bust and you don't like it, don't buy it. If HH makes a statue and the color is not to the specs you like, don't buy it. If you have a problem with me charging for an order before it arrives, don't order it. The bottom line is that all of us deliver but we will never be able to make everyone happy. I ship about 200-400 boxes a week. It's very difficult to make all customers happy and have a zero margin of error. We are all human and that's the way it is. If you want to know the status of an item, read the item description and read the newsletters. Don't complain that you're not in the loop when you don't do your part. If a piece is suppose to be released in September and it doesn't arrive until January, live with it. Your friends won't shun you because it's late. If I receive 5 pieces the same day, be patient. All 5 will not ship out simultaneously, it's going to take some time.
Considering the amount of orders I get out a week, the amount of pieces BD, CM, HH and GG produce, it is a very small minority that constantly complain. The problem is that they do it so often, it is now bothersome for many. I have had tons great members tell me that they are tired of those posts while I have yet to have one support it. So if you cannot contribute in a positive way, don't contribute at all.
All of us listed above could easily get on and blast a member or two as well if we wanted to. You don't see that though. Let's not take it to the point that everyone gets this disease and makes this great forum self destruct.
So, enjoy this forum for what it was meant to be. I would love to come back and post with friends again and have friends post back.

I saw that too, I have to agree with him. The constant whining and complaining, and the way some members disrespect the artists is getting ridiculous. This is a hobby after all and some people just don't realize that anymore.

I agree that the board over there is just downright rude. :monkey2 The complaining there is sometimes worse than in the Star Wars section over here. :monkey3 The sad thing is that there are several great members over there, most happen to be members here as well, but those few bad members ruin it for me.

As far as Danny goes...his customer service is horrible. He's tried to rip me off twice and once he took 8 weeks to ship an item out after he charged my CC. That's just ludicrous. Then he threatened to file mail fraud charges against me even though I had emails were he admitted to being wrong.

I will take his advice and not order from him anymore. There are TONS of better online stores than his store. Stores that actually care about their customers.

http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub...p?f=14&t=40192

This is a quick message to the members of TFW2005.com. The datacenter where TFW2005.com and possibly 10's of thousands of other sites had it's physical server stored had an issue earlier today which took the electricity to the entire building offline. From what we understand there was no damage to the actual servers, just the electrical connection to the facility. As of right now there is no ETA on the site coming back online. So long as this was a purely outside, electrical based issue, it should be anywhere from 24-72 hours. This also affected Hisstank.com and Cybertron.Ca.
Please pass the word around to those that may care, we will keep everyone updated here. Thanks, see you soon

This is the same one that SF uses.
