Man you guys are busy over there! One critique, the banner is nice looking, but it might need to be redone since getting blown up the picture quality got a little grainy. It would be nice to have a real clean and professional looking header since its on every page.
No offense, but I'm not registering just to read your forum.
CF thanks for pointing that out. I believe it is fixed now for open viewing. but of course like any other forum you cant post unless you register.
By the way, thank you Dave for putting this up here.

Yep this is a forum where you can talk about pretty much any 1/6 figure line in existence.
There's a Medicom, Hot Toys, Takara, Sideshow, DCD, Marvel Icons and mini busts and statues section on Medi World.
Plus we've an off topic section if there's anything else you want to discuss with us.
You guys should come visit some time, we'll have a blast:D

Actually when we started the board was only supposed to be a place where five or six of us could take uninterrupted and unrestrained by Mod control about Medicom figures.
So I'd say the fact it's attracted fifty plus other users is pretty impressive.
How's that seven year Kurgan Krusade working out for ya?

Its a great piece. People that don't understand that just don't get it. No hesitation at all on my part to buy it. None despite owning the SS version. I get a 1-2 punch on the best Mauls around.
Cheap looking outer robe? Then what do you call the SS one? :monkey3

Better than what Medicom did. Sorry I don't agree with ya. The rest of the figure kicks ass which is why I bought the dang thing.

Yeah no sh%# that SS robe doesn't cooperate for nothing and it looks ridiculous. There's absolutley no weight to it at all.Atleast the Medi robes and from the looks of the new maul robe will have weight to them,it makes it look a lot better.I had the SS maul for month when Medicom announced theirs,I looked at my SS maul then back at the new Medi Maul proto pics and I was like see ya,put em on ebay. :maul

Here's a pic from SS site. There's other pics of him on there too,but trust me I had this figure and no matter what I did I could not get his robe to look that good.So here's a more accurate image of him I really think people are deluding them selves when they say that Medi mauls robe is cheap looking.

Sorry guys I prefer the SS outer robe. I don't use it but I do prefer it. I don't care for the Medicom one and I've seen it in person at SDCC. It's just not something I was impressed with for a figure that cost $150 bucks. Either way I'm not using it for the Medicom Maul either.
The rest of the figure is just awesome. :rock

Medi world rules.Great bunch of guys and the figures are amazing, especially the Star Wars line which is second to none. You can really tell that alot of thought and attention to detail go into these figures. The Japanese must be really big fans of the characters they are producing. To get a piece that is essentially the same as the prototype is a true testament to this company's standard of excellence and while the figures may not be cheap,I personally would rather pay more for one figure that is awesome than have two that are just ok.Is Medicom perfect? Of course not,no company is,every co. will have some snags and kinks to work out,but with their latest releases they are heading in the right direction and definately setting the bar higher for the 1/6th world.I see a bright growing future for Medicom and Medi World.

Medicom is definitely headed in the right direction with thier SW line. With the three SM3 flops that came out this year they really needed Boba and Jango.
I sooooo look forward to seeing what they'll do next in the SW line.

I'm a big Spider-Man fan and a big Medicom fan, but even I didn't like the red and blue version of Spidey they made.
The Symbiote and Venom figures were much better IMHO though, but this has been the year of SW for Medi for sure:D

I really like my SS Maul. No reason to spend $150+ for an out of scale figure.

Medi's Yoda however is unmatched so far.

Kind of funny, since your repainted SS maul probably cost close to $150 depending on who painted it. :lol:lol:lol

I'm not getting Medi-Maul, but I do hope his folding arms work better than they did on the ROTS Vader. I found it a frustrating activity trying to get those puppies on right. I just wish that SS had tailored the robe a bit better. I love the size of Maul's hood.
