Straczynski Thor (Spoiler Alert)

Ok once again spoiler warning...





Was it just me or did this end in the middle of a good developing story? Do they have any hopes to continue this Thor arc with or without Straczynski?

Way I heard it, after Marvel hired Straczynski to reboot Thor and Loki and the rest, they were so pleased with what he had done that they decided to mess with it in some cross over with the Siege event. Straczynski gave noticed, finished his run but left a few issues clean up for the next guy. Which the new guy promptly did. I got the issues through Comixology as I am a big fan of hard covers and digital downloads, but not so much with the actual comics themselves.
