It freaked me out that bit the very first time I seen it.

Also potentially the cheesiest part to those who didn't watch NOES until years later. :lol I always found that part to be light weight corny, the way he runs makes me chuckle. Epic aesthetically but doesn't translate well after all these years. I could imagine that being pretty striking during and around it's release though.

It is always the first part I mention when I talk to anyone about NOES and to be honest most people seem to agree that it was a creepy scene but like you say it could be looked upon as a silly scene now especially with the youth of today. :lol
