This Stormtrooper is the first in a whole series of new Life-size statues. It's articulated just like the original vintage figure and is made of fiberglass with a removable blaster. Darth Vader will be coming as well complete with a vinyl cape and telescoping lightsaber! These will ship assembled in a crate.

The jumbo thing was a cool idea, but this is just ridiculous.

I actually like the life size concept better than the jumbo concept, in a way. I wonder what they will go for, though.

Probably true, but GG's "monuments" have been relatively reasonably priced compared to, say, Sideshow's life size figures. And these are pretty simple when you get right down to it.

The vinyl cape for Darth isn't going to work. I had a buddy that made a full-size Kenner Leia costume for his wife and he essentially had to fake the cape. Also if they DO figure it out and fold it up for transport then the wrinkles will be there forever.
