I just finished this book. Well, audiobook (read by Wil Wheaton). And I have to say it was pretty amazing. Some parts were a bit light on conflict making it read like a backstory instead of part of an active narrative, but the overall coolness made up for it.

Anyone else read it?
 
Yes, great book if you played video games growing up. I did and still do.
WOW players would get a kick out of it.
There were talks at some point about a movie being made.
A quick and entertaining read.

One of the studios bought the rights but a name would have to attach themself before it would be profitable to actually make, I'm afraid. But I would line up to see a Firefly class starship fly on the big screen again and the idea of seeing Max Headroom... It all takes me back.
