I've seen a few pictures on the forum with 1:2 statues inside an acrylic type case with lighting. I can't remember who posted their collection pictures or when, and I've looked all over. Can anyone recommend or provide pictures of let's say an Ironman Mark III 1:2 inside this type of environment? Or can anyone suggest a reasonable company that makes these? I'm hoping for a company in the South Florida area, because shipping will be outrageous!!

Thanks!

My good friend Aslan_GFX filmed an update video of his collection. His Iron Man MKIII 1:2 Maquette display inspired me to purchase one as it just looked emmense. Since then it is now my favourite piece in my collection and i am also planning to recreate a similiar style display when i eventually get to display mine, although my casing will be cylindrical as opposed to rectangular so that it fits in with the roundness of the base...had the base been square then i would have gone for a more rectangular shape display case.

Great video and great collection as well!
How are you getting it done as cylinder?
That would definitely be the better option so the Casing doesn't need to be bigger than it has to. Also, I think it will look sweet once you've got him setup. Who does the display and what are they charging?

I make my own custom display cases from plastic (acrylic). You can see a few different varieties of cases that i've made in my display thread...here is the link:

creating a cylindrical casing is done by a specialist machine that i dont have but i know of someone who can do this for me so it shouldnt be a problem. However, due to the complex shape as opposed to having a rectangular/square shape case, the cylindrical case will inevitably cost more..

What type of pricing would we be looking at with a Cylindrical casing? Hope about the pedestal with lighting as well? Can you let me know pricing information? I've got to place this bad boy somewhere and don't know where to start. I have several other pieces I'm going to need pedestals and acrylic cases for.

Give me a ballbark figure on 1/4 scale Acrylic cases. Do you build the pedestals with lighting as well, or only the Acrylic portion?

Really nice work you've done and mods. :)

who on here can make or have made acrylic cases or sides to the cases that can be shipped flat?

Saro is a euro company who makes cases you screw to together and they ship flat. I have one from them so far and from now on, I will go through them for cases.

i have one from this company they are very good and i seen the same type costing far more :)

I'm going to contact them this week. Aslan_gfx told me about them.
My only concern is shipping to the US and costs.
I'm also trying to get a pedestal with lighting done, but don't really have a source. I was hoping to find a one stop shop for my 1/4 and 1/2 scales.

If you email them, they should be able to make one at any size for you. Aslan had one made for his 1:2 IM.

Oh really?!? Sweet, I'll do that. I'd be interested in seeing if they are (when shipping is included) cheaper than casesforcollectibles.com . I think one big enough for the CM Vader or LSF Wolf was like $500-600 shipped with them.

I'm going to shoot over the case dimensions provided now.
Lets see what they tell me. Of course nothing beats having them done in your area to avoid shipping, because it's horrible how much shipping is costing these days just for your item to occupy a few inches on a plane. Hope it's not close to a plane ticket to NY. lol

At $500.00 to $600.00, I expect the lighted pedestal to come with it. :/

I had one made by them for my CM Vader and it cost me around 200 euros including shipping. I just e-mailed them the dimensions and they made it for me. My dimensions were 80cm wide x 85cm high by 60cm deep.

Ok
You asked for it :)
