shouldn't be an issue.
I've had hot toys in a brightly lit room, out of direct sunlight; and I've had no discoloration. I've even had my Iron Figures there for awhile, even with the risk of the pink panty issue, and nothing on this end.
If you still want to be sure, you could get UV filters for your skylights.
