I've been wanting to start a thread on Looney Tunes and MM for some time now to share and discuss the shorts we love. My son and I watch the DVDs on a daily basis (or close to daily) and they bring back so many great memories for me.

I want to start with one I watched this morning, Rabbit's Kin. Directed by Robert McKimson this short features the first appearance of Pete Puma. Though Pete only featured in two vintage shorts he has always been a favorite of mine. "You better give me a lotta lumps, a whole lotta lumps" and his weird inhale laugh are things I still reference when talking with my brother. :lol I also find it amusing that Pete dresses as a lady at one point when dealing with Buggs, as it's normally Buggs who does the cross dressing.

Anyway, here's a link to the entire short. I couldn't find the whole clip on Youtube to embed:

Here's some clips as well:

My 6 year old daughter started watching these recently and there is nothing better than watching your kid burst out in laughter to "Rabbit of Seville"

I watch these with my daughter. We're on volume 3 of the Golden Collections. We'll eventually catch up to the BD sets.

I've been waiting for an appropriate thread to post this in.
