THE REVIEW

ok so i bought this case (black) off ebay on 1/1/13 and it shipped out the next day. It arrived in the USA on 1/4/13 and was in customs and finally delivered today on 1/9/13. So not bad coming from Hong Kong to San Francisco. The seller packed it well and everything was in perfect condition.

The box had some weight to it, i say about 8 pounds. It comes in a slip cover like hot toys and after the slipcase is off there is noting but a plain brown box. Flipping it open i see the two base (top, bottom) and 3 acrylic plastic, and 1 mirror backing. There is also a box with the lights and a usb plug for power.

The base top and bottom are identical and are made of plastic. I wish it was made with something stronger and thick but no. On it you will see an on/off switch and a hole to plug in the adapter. On the back of the base on the corner the logo Ledgen Studio made in China in printed in back. Since the base are identical, one of the logo's will be upside down. Good thing the is in the bad and will not be a factor. The top and bottom base takes 3 AAA batteries to power the 4 Led lights on each base. Or you can use the option usb plug which is included to power both.

The side and front acrylic plastic come with a film covering that needs to be removed before installing. Glad they did this to prevent scratching and damage in the box. Each plastic has a good weight to them.

The back Mirror also has a film to protect before installing. The mirror is shiny and clear. On the back of the mirror it is just white cardboard.

The Led lights are great. small and bright. and able to manually rotate up to 90 degrees. 4 on top and 4 on bottom.

The touch controls on this is like a touch lamp. Just touch the middle center of the bottom or top base and the light will turn on.
The light feature works very well. As you can turn the top on and leave the bottom off, or vice versa, or both.

This is a great plus that they included the usb power adapter to power the top and bottom base. This is good if you plan on displaying this case on an office desk close to a cpu.

Overall i am very please with this case. The light pegs are manually rotatable to get that perfect lighting to really show off your Hot Toys or Statue. The included USB is a great way to save batteries and allowing you to leave on the light. The touch on/off light is what i expected and works flawlessly. Love the clear mirror in the back. This case can hold two hot toys figure side by side with no problems

I wish there was more heft on the base and thicker acrylic on the plastic but these are minor grips for a wonderful case. I paid 99.99 for it shipped. I think it was worth it and hope someone in the US will carry it for a cheaper total price. Otherwise i would not mind dropping $99.99 for another one.
