James Arness as The Thing ... please

I would love to see a 12" James Arness in his role as The Thing From Another Planet ... Since it was in B&W, the figure could be done in grey .. It wouldn't need much by way of sculpting work .. pretty much just head and hands on a taller (like the FvJ Jason) body.

I believe this would sell well with the classic sci-fi crowd. I'd take 2 myself (my father always wanted one).

Yes, why not? The Thing is one of my all time favorites. Even though I love the remake better, I have much love for the original. A 12" would be fantastic, and part of my collection right away! IF SSC would make one that is!

Aah. One of my favorite films from one of my favorite genres.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sideshow eventually gets around to a Gort... at least I really, really hope they do!!!

He'd be perfect for the rubber suit treatment like the Creature and Metaluna Mutant!
