Wow. I had to read that list a couple times before I fully understood that Ghostface and the Creeper made the list but Michael Myers, THE modern horror icon, didn't make the list! :google

Good poll... I had to decide between Pinhead and Leatherface (all are great). But the senseless brutality of Leatherface just barely edged him out.

Yeah why didn't Michael Myers make the list? He IS the horror icon. He is creepier than the rest of them. The Creeper makes the list and not him? :rolleyes:

Myers should be on it though and would be my choice. Classic Jason or Pinhead second.

I am working on my horror display and it includes pics of horror icons. First one is finished (below, you will love it Shai). Next one will have: Leatherface, Tall Man, Exorcist, and Chucky.

I really hope Sideshow gives us more Modern Horror PF pieces, as they deserve the PF treatment.

I'd say that Myers definetely deserves a spot on that list and he freaks me out more than Jason, but the ol' Hock-headed mongoloid is still my favorite Horror icon.

And GB....I WISH I had that poster.... Found this online and I have to find out where to get it. I could finally have the poster I need for my Jason setup. :rock

the Tall Man all the way! I remember the giant Cardboard standees in theaters for the first sequel proclaiming "The Ball is Back!", and the first movie is pretty eerie!

I see the golden age of movie monster being the old Universal stuff, and then the silver age being the Hammer horror era, with the modern age being the Freddy/Jason/Michael Myers era. Since most stuff now is a remake, I guess we're dealing with the postmodern era! But hey, I read comics, so I like to break things down a little more!

Wowwwww...Josh Awesoome paint jobs on your Jasons..Particulary part 6...the sculpt is really put in evidence with all the details because of your work.Part 6 is one of my least favorite Jason figures because the face was kind of monotone..But with your repaint,I think he is one of the best Jason ever !!!! Thanks Shai.... I too had the same feeling about Part 6... his paint was just too blah. So I decided to fix that, and that's where this repaint idea sprung to life from.

Thanks King.... I just got back from a tour at my soon to be college (Full Sail ~ film) and was bursting with creativity so I also did some paint work on Jason 7. You can't tell as much, but it's there... very minor touch up here and there. But the mask is noticeable... a few washes and grime added here and there...

I voted for Freddy. He is just so cool and plus he was my first modern day horror movie (Nightmare on Elm Street 2). However, my true favorite is Micheal Myers from Halloween. He is just pure evil in my opinion. An unstoppable killing machine and that mask is just creepy in itself. Great image for a unfeeling unstopable evil. Plus the music from that movie is just fantastic!!
