No denying the sheer amount of work that went into that. Unfortunately choosing to go with the stylized look, vs. a more realistic look for Hannibal just kills it for me.

Have to concur. Just not feeling it.

I'm seeing at least as much Ralph Fiennes in this pic as Anthony Hopkins (especially around the jaw/mouth):

And it does look cartoony.

I know the debate is raging, but is there a chance this will get fixed? I want him but the look is making this a no go.

Denny said they are doing a revision of the head sculpt, so let's hope they can nail it.

I think you said it best. Something especially wrong from the beneath the nose and down. He actually looks cool with the mask on. Of course it will cost 7 million dollars so Im out regardless.

They actually are doing the white shirt/white pants as another clothing option, the tailor just hasn't finished it up yet. I'm curious to see the crazy eyes with the mask on, and Denny is supposedly going to take that shot soon. As others are saying, the sculpt is being revised.

Also, to TheFiend's point, the price isn't all that bad actually. $280 for the blue jumpsuit version (pay an extra $110 and get the orange jumpsuit and straight jacket as an extra display option), $300 for the orange jumpsuit with straight jacket. $80 for the white t-shirt outfit. You get option of head type with whichever outfit you want. All versions come with mask, billy club, pen, shoes, and fat suit. Heads alone are $110. Some Hot Toys figures are more expensive.

maybe merge this thread with the actual one on the Customs Section so that the peeps here can be updated about all the changes being made and the prices and outfits offered?

I think the whole reason it was put here Axe, was to bring it to the attention of horror fans who hate all the douchery that goes on there and avoid it. I'm sure someone'll post updated pics when they hit.
