I was aware a certain someone was working on an MM1 but not about the clean headsculpt. And if we're thinking of the same person, well, if anyone can turn the semi BD head into a clean sculpt, he can. Interested.

Im sure were talking about the same reason ;)
Ill let him make te announcement when hes ready.
I was going to comission the clean Head but he was already thinking about it and has a semi bd Head on its way.
Hes gonna make wonders cant wait to replace my MMS and dx10 hs :)

I think someone said the barney Ross 2 black t shirt should fit the dx10.

Where do people post the announcement for custom head sculpts is it in the customs forum cause I can not miss out on a clean head sculpt for this. One other question would the custom sculpt come already paint cause if I was to try and do it myself it would look like the bd version.

Colton s shirt is too tight, get the barney ross one.

There is for the moment absolutely no infos whatsoever about whats going to be done about that clean hs. Maybe it Will even stay just a project or a private comission dunno at all... I know someone that is going to try something now if that is gonna be made available and to what extent is not know at all. However i doubt there Will be a thread about it since its basically a modified recast.
So dont get too worked up about it.
Well see what happens.

Any idea who HH's distributor is? Mine shipped today from toy square.

No, when I asked last week or the week before, Jay told me that the way their distributor works, they let stuff pile up and then ship it all in one go. He told me I'll have it before Christmas guaranteed.

When I go in on Wednesday for my comics, I'll ask again. Maybe you can let me know what your total came to with shipping and whatnot from Toys2. I've purchased through them before but figured I'd give HH a chance. If the price difference is huge then maybe I'll just stick with toys2 and BBTS/SSC.

MMS update. Head, bandolier, grenade launcher, and hands are from dx13.

The neck / head connection isn't ideal, but I'll work it out eventually.

I lightened mine tremendously. Especially the semi damaged head. to remove it completely is not the best option I would recommend. I think if you leave most of it on it gives it a good realistic presence.

As a avid customizer, the only thing I would change is the neck post. Have you tried a lower ball joint extension for the neck.

You can still keep the outer shell of the neck just swamp the ball joint attached to it. I've done that many times on my customs.

I'm gonna have to prepare some suggestions RE: altering that hairline on the semi-BD head if its being converted to clean. I put the DX10 sunnies on it last night and compared it to screengrabs and it really drew attention to what I've been talking about with the inaccurate hairline. And since he'd be working on the hairline anyway, restoring it on the BD side and whatnot, he might aswell make the whole thing as accurate as possible. I also really thing the hair should be lengthened a bit on the front for the clean look.

Anyone is taking up this project. Considering the sale numbers there must be gazillion bd head sculpts floating around so shld not cost much for someone to do full sculpts? Wld love to have one.

It seems like a lot of people would love to have one. A clean sculpt that looks as much like Arnie as these BD sculpts. I hope that's not my imagination and I hope HT see's the demand. Arnold Schwarzenegger is at least as important as Heath Ledger and is also worth multiple goes until they get it right. And its frustrating that, as happened with Enterbay, the non-battledamaged version of him is of a lower standard.

I think all want one - the question is would they buy another 300 dollar figure for it. Many are actually happy with dx10. Dont get me wrong i want one, but hot toys has become so big that unless they see threshold sale quantities it does not make sense for them. Plus they will keep doing same accessories etc so many will pass if it comes now. I think they are better of focusing on other versions ... They will surely revisit it in 2 odd years i think.

Yes awesome. How did you do it? 90% alcohol on a qtip? Does that work on the flesh parts?

You can go 70% alcohol if you like some of the really hard blood stains I used a subtle mixture of paint thinner and brush cleaner ( very subtle, you don't want to strip it completely)

I'd recommend just lightly using 70% rubbing alcohol to start and gently rub the blood off with a qtip

The flesh is all experimentation, I started to rub a little here and a little there off the flesh at first. The chin and mouth aren't that bad, especially if you.clean up the chrome parts around the mouth and chin.

I'd say focus on lightening around the forehead above his right side for the semi head.

Again experimentation is best, if you rub too hard it might strip the flesh paint off.:lecture

You still want to keep most of the gloss on the bloody flesh areas, because it adds depth and realism to the sculpt IMO. Just get the orange jam to almost a faded smear look, so it captures he was bleeding but now the bleeding has faded onto his skin.

I used the light as a source. Daylight works the best because I was able to tell if I went too much in rubbing the smeared blood off or too little. As for the rest of the body I left it alone for now, as I posted before it didn't bother me as much on the other parts after I got the face modded. IMO, everything blended better.

Once you obtain the look that satisfies you, it can look great in any light IMO.

Simple daylight shot. It still has a gloss feel to it but not so much as of jam look

As for the other head, I went subtle because I actually liked the blood on that one, so I just touched up some areas, mostly around the chrome. :lecture

Can you post some pics. bare in mind what I noticed is that the PERS on this are not the best, I've seen better on LUKE, Keaton Bats, even Indy.

The movement of the PERS is just a tad less for some reason, trust me I have futzed with the PERS on this and that's the conclusion I came too. It has terrible looking down movement, not as fluent as raising the eyes in the " Undertaker " like mode.:lecture

I still think a clean sculpt T-800 is still in the works. C'mon if HT's did a Bale 1/4 Batman I think they will have a 1/4 T-800 coming which could include a clean sculpt. I think that if they do a 1/4 T-800 it will probably have the tear gas grenade launcher.

Personally I think they should do another T-800 clean sculpt " Mall battle " piece.

I still see a Police station massacre T-1 coming.

I think it'd be worth it. I mean we've got this sculpt which finally looks like Arnie according to 99% of the forum, maybe even 100%, I don't think I've seen anyone say otherwise. We've got this great sculpt but there's just one tiny thing off about it, something which could easily be fixed especially since he's going to be doing work on the hairline anyway. I think the bigger shame would be to leave that tiny flaw in it. It could be perfection. Why stop short.

Well, mine arrived a few days ago.. (YES!)..however, the wife said it WAS a Christmas present, therefore NO opening of the box until then! And I didn't want to poke the bear! (as those of you who are married would know.. :wink1:). So, it didn't look as though it took any major damage by looking at the outer box, so all should be OK.

But until Christmas morning, this is as close as I'll get to it... :gah:

I don't see it as a matter of 'trust' or not. Clearly not everyone sees the problem with the hairline, I didn't either at first and I'm as obsessive as they come with Arnie's likeness. Chances are he isn't aware of it and would just match the new hairline on the BD side with what HT did on the other side. We've already seen a photoshop of this done and, frankly, I thought it looked bizarre.

In seriousness though I know this kind of thing annoys people and is offputting.

Plus people have been pretty cool about it, no one has jumped on me. So if anyone would prefer maybe I could limit this kind of talk to a select few interested parties via PM.

It's looks like the difference between the dx13 neck and dx10 neck is the dx13 has an extra linda blair muscle in the front.

Too bad the dx10 is a slightly different shade, and yes P. the dx10 and dx13 are different heights... :panic::panic:

Lol, I wouldn't worry about it
There's not much you could do that would take away from the perfection of this figure

Edit: that might have come across wrong, was basically trying to say this figure is perfection

Once the artist s done, if he do it, we Will see how it goes.
But i guess it Will be available by contacting him directly as he usually do

It's not a bad price. U can also see ebay if its cheaper. Lastly many here have two figures so may be they can PM you. I put the semi sculpt on a dx10... Looks ok to me. Check my pics in the earlier posts.

Thanks man! That's the cheapest I've seen on ebay so far with free shipping. Prices have gone down, 2 weeks ago the heads were for at least $80.

Yeah, I've seen your pics as well as those who have done the same and I think the DX13 head look great on it. Is the color difference between the DX13 head and DX10 body that noticeable, though?

Well if you are **** yes, but i can promise you my wife does a great job in rating the likeness of the sculpts, she is spot on in like 2 min of a look to say what is good and what is bad, however the neck color change dint matter her at all. You can also put some color on body like blood bullet holes to make it more like dx13. All in all my view is, if you dont have money its better to do what you are doing. Save the extra $$ for an endo. It wont be perfect but 9.9 on 10 is good enough if it saves u some dollars. U can always add a dx 13 body when you have some money. Once the fever is over, some will keep and some will let go of all the extra stuff they bought. (Obviously that has a risk and is speculative)

Really appreciate your thoughts, bud :) Yeah I guess I'll just get a DX13 head and take it from there. I'll leave representing the full BD look to my EB BD T800 :)

I know it's a great figure and I wish I could get the whole set, but I have spent so much on my first year of collecting and still got a lot on PO, so I had to say no to some figures despite my wanting them badly. LOL I wish I had more money than responsibilities.

Thanks again man! :1-1:

U have to do that. Especially if you are not sticking to one line. Lastly, while i am not in the 1/4 scale at all, i can honestly tell you, that EB full head is way better. Yes scales are different bla bla... But ht messed the blood work on the head big time. So while fairly accurate head sculpt, creative part of chrome vs blood will look less than impressive in front of a full bd enterbay. When you have money you can pull in that one too, or pass it, like u said.

:gah:

Why did you even buy it then? :)

Because I wanted it...but then I bought the Enterbay 1/4 version and fell in love with it, and lost interest in this one. Don't really feel the need to own both, and I'm more interested in 1/4 scale now. I kept my PO as I had already paid deposit and added some credit towards purchase, so I figured I'd keep it and sell it once it arrived.

Oh they will. This is "minting a line" a line that has passed a test of time. Even now the 7 inch McFarlene ones sell on ebay etc. these will too. So long they throw in more accuracy, dioramas, bells and whistles.
Refer to the darth vader thread, i think its an average vader and still people are jumping on to the second version from sideshow. And here for this character they can make so many changes here and there. But yes over every 2-3 yrs

While nothing is perfect, this is stunning. And the "jelly" is far less prominent in person. I may try and remove a small amount of said jelly, but it will be minimal if anything. Great likeness. I love the knee joint. The magnet on my full bd head came right off and I had to re-glue it. I also would have preferred a 1:1 t-800 chip instead of a bullet riddled piece of jacket. The T-1000 accessory is amazing to behold and I think the exclusive head is too formed for the rest of the mass to match it. I think I may display the full BD look as it'll be very unique on the shelf.

Right well, as there was talk about turning the semi-BD head into a clean version, I found that the hairline is even more an inaccuracy than it otherwise seemed.

First of all, Difabio made up this a couple of weeks back -

http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt28/a-dev/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET61_zpse4cecc27.jpg (http://s594.photobucket.com/user/a-dev/media/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET61_zpse4cecc27.jpg.html)

A few people thought that looked great. I thought it looked pretty ridiculous. The face is just so damn wide! You could improve it however by doing this:

http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt28/a-dev/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET62_zps721902b7.jpg (http://s594.photobucket.com/user/a-dev/media/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET62_zps721902b7.jpg.html)

The best thing to do is to save these pics to your computer, open them up and then left/right cycle through them to see the change.

Face may still be a tiny bit wide to be honest but at least the forehead/temples are improved.

http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt28/a-dev/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET12_zpsc0732993.jpg (http://s594.photobucket.com/user/a-dev/media/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET12_zpsc0732993.jpg.html)http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt28/a-dev/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET11_zps421fb43e.jpg (http://s594.photobucket.com/user/a-dev/media/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET11_zps421fb43e.jpg.html)

Its totally wrong on the temple area^

Here's roughly how it should be reshaped/added to:
http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt28/a-dev/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET13_zps72fb670a.jpg (http://s594.photobucket.com/user/a-dev/media/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET13_zps72fb670a.jpg.html)http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt28/a-dev/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET11_zps421fb43e.jpg (http://s594.photobucket.com/user/a-dev/media/DX13%20hairline%20mod%20suggestions/UPLOADSET11_zps421fb43e.jpg.html)

You can't quite get it perfect, the thickness of the arms of the sunglasses is relatively greater on the toy which throws it off a bit.

I think for someone that sculpts, it shouldn't be that difficult. Making changes to the top of the hair would be a good idea too.

Hair is pretty easy, but the idea of successfully turning a BD head into a normal one is pretty daunting. Not because of the sculpting part, but having to repaint the entire thing to be as good as HT's factory paint. Now there's a challenge. Fixing those hair bits isn't a biggy though, IMO.

"Much to learn you still have"

I kid, in seriousness yeah, the area we're talking about does look to be more accurate on MMS117. Likewise on DX10. I think if they had been sculpting DX13's heads with a view to putting sunglasses on they would have noticed where they went wrong with the hairline. I noticed it regardless because I'm just that @n @l but it became even more apparent when I put the sunnies on. Its a bit frustrating to me to say the least that no single sculpt can seem to get everything right. Shame I can't do it myself. :slap I am probably a bit unreasonable in my expectations of sculptors who have to deal with deadlines and so on.

Exactly. And I don't see how it could be a visual illusion or anything, dead-straight frontal view of the sculpt with the damage pretty seamlessly covered over, it looks symmetrical....just very wide.

Even with the slight hair mod it still looks like the face from eye-level down might be too wide. Thankfully the BD sculpts don't look so much like that in person. The naked eye seems to be more forgiving especially with the battle-damage.

It does make me question how good the sculpt would be as a non-BD though.

Maybe it would help if Hot Toys stopped making such perfectly close to symmetrical shaped hair. There's not even any peaks of light throughout the hair at any angle. Arnie with an afro wig.

Or…

The perfectly solid hair is playing with our perception and causing the head to look even rounder.

So if HT revisits their T-1000 figure, how would you want him to be? I think it is nearly a perfect figure with lots of extras like a DX without only pers system so I would want him to be something maybe not so articulated but looks amazing:)

So if HT revisits their T-1000 figure, how would you want him to be? I think it is nearly a perfect figure with lots of extras like a DX without only pers system so I would want him to be something maybe not so articulated but looks amazing:)

Either of those would be a grand excuse to put out a new one and maybe include extra heads like the fully split head and a new clean sculpt. I'd be in. Shock and surprise.

Maybe it would help if Hot Toys stopped making such perfectly close to symmetrical shaped hair. There's not even any peaks of light throughout the hair at any angle. Arnie with an afro wig.

The perfectly solid hair is playing with our perception and causing the head to look even rounder.
Yeah - I made mention of that ages ago. The hair is too round & perfect.

MMS117 still has it on those heads in that regard.

I hope what I have shown today does not spoil people's enjoyment of this figure, it is otherwise a fantastic and hugely fun piece.

But Rorywan....*smiles though clenched teeth*...I hope I've ruined it for you. I hope you can now see nothing else and it eats you up inside till you can stand it no more and have to do something about it and then take commissions for mods. :monkey3

I would've put up a snapshot but they are too many posted around already :D.

Just had one question, the endo-head sculpt has bit too much red on it, is there any way I can remove it to make it look more silvery/gray using a household product assuming the red is over the gray :/? (I don't want to go out and buy anything specifically for this, not that much of a bother.

No actually I was right about the DX10 thing too. At least if you go by Hot Toy's latest work. The profile of DX13's hair is virtually identical to what I did to that DX10 head. :yess:

Why cant people just enjoy the figure? I loved my T800 DX10..the me the inaccuracies are not significant and I dont see them. Dx10 was a perfect 10/10 figure for me, no nitpicks. its spot on, good quality, looks like arnold enough. It be really hard to get it to look completely screen accurate or else you would have a basically a 1:1 arnold strunk into a 1:6 size for the cost of 300 bucks. I was actually looking forward for the DX13...might cancel it now

all this talk about the inaccuracies. When I opened my DX10, I jaw dropped and said nothing but good things about it. It seems like most of you are satisfied with the figure, yet, theres still nitpicks, that apparently warranted pictures of what the hair should have look liked compared to a scene in the movie. I just think thats a bit far fetched.

This is what some of us do with our figures. A more critical eye ultimately contributes to a culture in which things get improved as time goes on, directly, indirectly, it leads to improvement. I'm gonna end up with 8 of this guy when all is said and done. And I'm not enjoying it? Ok.

Guys adev has a point, appreciation and criticism both almost always go hand in hand as nothing can ever be perfect. Just like its Imp to know what's right, its imp to know what's off too. Such criticism keeps the companies from becoming complacent. So long story short no one is saying its a bad figure but does not mean its a perfect figure. The best thing about life, art, people, etc is that we can cherish both perfection and imperfection alike. Its a 300 dollar doll and has to be subjected to some level of scrutiny...

if anyone says it needs to look any different than 1:1 shrunk to 1:6 would be insulting hottoys, enterbays and custom artists vision. They want just that but its tough to do.

Lastly i love my dx10 too, and we love our pets, our pets love us, we love our family and our family loves us that does not mean we are all perfect. Although dont go too far and start pointing fingers at your gf ;) they typically dont understand this logic :) ...

Y'know what I know where you're coming from. I just came from the 89 Batmobile thread, a product which I am completely happy with, inaccuracies or none. There are definitely things that I enjoy completely uncritically. Quite simply though Terminator cannot be one of them. This is my personal primary obsession. So I'm not enjoying them in exactly the same way as I do other figures, but rest assured I am still enjoying them.

I just want to stress that for me, when I opened all of those figures, 12, 10, and prob 13, I was so surprised of the quality of the figure and such. It was right out of the box awesome. But I am glad we could be mutual about it :)

Hmmmm, I feel like mine might've been taken out of the box, but I'm not sure. A similar occurrence I had was with DX10, which had the chip and another part already in his head, and some other pieces seem like they've been handled before, but I purchased it really late during those times when one would pop up after being SOLD OUT for a day or two, so I figured it was one that was returned or something. Nevertheless, the flap on the box was partially ripped but I've seen that before. The cardboard outlining the figure and covering the hands had a crease on the top middle. Usually that happens when taking it out to see what's underneath, so I thought it was weird that it was creased already. And finally the T-1000 has some prints on it. Regardless, it is a really nice figure and I'm not going to bother exchanging it since it's EX. Pics coming soon!

So I had mine sitting in the box for over a week, didn't open it as I was planning to sell it. Well my curiosity got the better of me and I did open it up to take a quick peak, mainly to ensure there was no defects, and I know I'm definitely in the minority here but honestly I wasn't that impressed.

It just looks too toyish to me and the headsculpts have a very plastic look to them (I know they are made of plastic so don't need any smart comments, just has that 'plastic toy' look, if you know what I mean). Not sure what it is. I think the likeness is ok, but not spot on. Full BD sculpt looks better than the partial BD one. Looks more like Arnie to me. Dunno what it is about the partial one but it looks slightly off. I do think this has the best PERS I have ever seen though. I actually thought it was really well done, was quite impressed.

I put this next to my Enterbay 1/4 figure, and there was no comparison. The Enterbay one just looks so real and life-like, and the likeness is bang-on, from all angles. But this...it doesn't quite have the same effect for me. Looks too toyish and likeness isn't as good as the Enterbay figure, which looks like Arnie to me no matter which way I look at it.

I know I shouldn't compare the 2 as different scales so it's not exactly fair, but I couldn't help but compare the 2 since I have both. Maybe getting into 1/4 figures has now made me overly harsh towards 1/6, but I just can't see them the same anymore, and the Enterbay figure is probably the best figure I've ever seen so it has become my new benchmark.

There are some things on the DX13 that I do like better than the Enterbay one though. I prefer the exposed metal parts on the DX13, mainly the leg and chest, as the paint looks more real to me. The Enterbay one looks a bit too dull and not shiny enough. I also prefer how the exposed knee was done on the DX13, it articulates better than the Enterbay one and you can see more of the endo leg. The severed arm also looks a lot better on the DX13.

I had a quick look at the parts, and again, wasn't impressed with these. The M79 looks very cheap and plastic looking. I'll admit I didn't pay too much attention to the others, as I just had a quick look at the package overall. Again, don't mean to compare scales here, but the M79 in the Enterbay set is one of the coolest accessories I've ever seen. Looks very real. The HT one looks like a cheap kid's toy, and I know they can do better than this.

Anyway, that's my thoughts. Maybe 1/6 isn't for me anymore, I don't know. I'm most likely going to sell this figure. I am pretty content with my 1/4 version and don't really plan to collect 1/6 anymore, but being a big Terminator fan, I'll give myself a week before I decide.

Just got mine. The left leg seems to be a little shorter than the right making him lopsided when he stands. After a few minutes I was able to make him stand straight but as soon as I mess with the left leg even a little bit, he goes all lopsided again. Is there something wrong with the leg?

Here's a pic. Right leg on the right. Left on the left.

Does anybody have any suggestions or tips for what I can do? I removed the pants to check the joints and everything looks fine so I don't think anything has to be popped in or anything like that. Ankle pegs seems fine too but that is where you can really see the difference in height.

I might've missed the DX10, but I like this new TT. Probably one of the best TT I've seen so far IMO :lecture. I hope HT takes another shot at a Dutch from Predator using this body.

The quickest and most simple route I take, is I pop the short leg's peg out of the boot, tilt the peg slightly, put the boot back on, but not back on the peg, and futz the legs, you should get a more even result with no mod.

Thanks but that's not really a permanent solution. I really don't wanna have to jimmy rig it.

your pictures don't look covered with orange varnish at all.
did you fix it by rubbing the paint off?
or is it just a lucky manner of taking photos?
but what is clearly seen is that the left side of hair/face border is not painted. didn't notice that before.

This a spare sculpt I decided to get, the left side is painted, but the brown is more faded, I actually like it a little better than my previous semi sculpt.

It isn't as orange as my other one as well which was great to see. I did rub off some of the orange from the chrome because it was too distracting.

My modded PERS also helped create a more nature flow to the eyes as well, IMO, now I got that more of a balanced intensity that I like in his close up shots.

Just to confirm, did everyone elses T1000 statue come with micro scratches all over it? Kind of like 'swirl marks' you get on your car from washing it. Really fine scratches visible under lights.

What is the pers mod?

Or more importantly what does it entail

guyver1
12-13-2013, 11:26 AM
Sorry guys I'm so delighted with my PERS mod and how it's giving me able results. I forgot to explain.

You need to use a a exacto knife for carving around the mechanism and use a dremel to hollow the head around the PERS.....JUST KIDDING!
:lol

Guys it's so simple

1. Unscrew the four screws where the PERS stick is located
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/DSC02834.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/DSC02834.jpg.html)

2. Carefully tug off the rectangle plate that houses the stick, it's one piece
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/DSC02835.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/DSC02835.jpg.html)

3. You will see the PERS socket and a circle where the stick attaches
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/DSC02836.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/DSC02836.jpg.html)

4. Your done

What I discovered is that the plate stick joint is the reason why you can't rotate the PERS down or really give it a good side movement, the circle knob attached to the stick rubs against the stick limiting the movement.
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/54987dce-20bc-4f4a-b686-9bdc3c3c9c3d.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/54987dce-20bc-4f4a-b686-9bdc3c3c9c3d.jpg.html)
The design is so simple and much more easier than PERS of the past I was delighted :yess:

Now how do you move it without the stick...simple I use the QStick that is used to move the PERS on the Full damaged sculpt. It fits easily into the socket hole that connects to the PERS and just move the socket.
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/DSC02837.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/DSC02837.jpg.html)

With this method now you can get full range of movement without feeling like the PERS will be loose or restricted. Don't worry the actual PERS fits snug, even without the stick. :lecture
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/eee1744f-b6c8-4a4d-b77c-f9fdb8dfe7ab.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/eee1744f-b6c8-4a4d-b77c-f9fdb8dfe7ab.jpg.html)

It helps when now I can have the eyes looking straight at me IMO rather than a unbalanced vacant look because the PERS weren't lined up right.

It brings more intensity into eyes now IMO
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj83/guyver12/guyver12050/DSC02841.jpg (http://s270.photobucket.com/user/guyver12/media/guyver12050/DSC02841.jpg.html)

Now if you want to make sure the PERS are actually snugged and lined up right you can remove the PERS with a pair of needle nosed pliers, but be cautious, it's tricky to get them back in, what I did was use tweezers to grip it ( The PERS will jiggle, because of their construction, that's why use the tweezers to grasp it.

Once you align the PERS into the eye sockets just gently push them back in and your golden.

Be patient, because the PERS jiggle so it might take time to align it in the empty eye socket holes. But once you got them aligned and push them back in they are snug fitted with no worries.

Again, you don't have to remove the PERS out of the eye sockets, I did that I mine because they were still uneven, and that fixed it up for me.

One more thing, be patient with this method guys, because of the missing plate/stick to brace the PERS into place, it might be hard to get the eyes lined up at first, but just futz with it, once you figure out the best way to move the stick in the right directions, you'll be pretty much set and be able to get natural eye poses IMO.

IMO it's worth the extra attention to be patient with this rather than keep the stick on and just have limited PERS movement.

Again it's up to you.

Yup, simple but effective. If people think it's an extra work to move the PERS it's exactly like moving the PERS with the stick in place. You still need to remove the back of the head. Just now, you use the Qstick to move the PERS instead of the regular stick.

It's the same amount of time if you think about it, only now you get better results. :lecture
