So I'm a relatively new collector. Finally embracing my inner comic book geek. Anyway, I'm getting pretty much the entire set of 1:6 Avengers and (except Nick Fury which is already sold out and I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and buy it off ebay at some point). I want to display them together and want to display them along with my TDK, wolverine and superman figures.

I was looking at the Detolfs which are cheap and easy. However, I really would like a lock to prevent my 5-year old boy from getting into them (I know really cruel to buy this stuff and not let him ruin them).

Also, I am getting the Batpod which isn't going to fit. I was considering sometime more like this:

Quite a step up in price but clearly of high quality. Not sure about the lighting but seems like a nice option. Quite a bit cheaper without it, though and I could go with LED lighting. Will be a bit kludgy though with an all-glass shelf. Of course I could also have exterior lights do the job.

Anyone use retail cabinets like this?

I bought a very nice (and very large) display case from Roxy Display.

They only ship using a freight service that will drop it off outside of your home, but the case is awesome quality and really cheap compared to others.

They do have some nice cases at reasonable prices but the shipping will kill you if you don't live near by. I think it was around $300 quoted to me for shipping to Oklahoma. OUCH!!
