I know Michael Crawford has done reviews on some of the Manitou and all three American Indians by Dog Soldier, what I’d like to know is, does any other historical collector out there have other comments? I have been buying SS' Caucasian Art S. Buck figures (which looks less "white" then license released figures,) and converting them into American Indians. I appreciate the price tag of Dog Soldier figures, but can’t locate the company any longer. Has Dog Soldier moved or shut down?

Manitou Free Traders looks like another possible conversion set. I would love more information on the head sculpts, if anyone has any. Will they fit onto SS bodies? I really want:
Pierre Toussaint Charbonneau
Sacagawea and Pomp
and the 1/6 Voyageur Canoe (this sounds very intriguing.)
