Space 1999 ,indeed very retro n nostagic piece of space art .
It was actually a request from a local who wanted a custom made
platform base and some minor repaint and repair . So I have build
a strong base using very durable teak wood and airbrush it with lacquer paint.

That dio is awesome, it portrays the isolation of the moon outside of the bay very nicely :)

That takes me back to my childhood but i bet most on this site don't know what space 1999 was.

Excellent work, i used to love that show when i was a kid!

Very nice! When I was a kid a had a model kit of the Eagle. Sadly, it ended up not looking anything like that. :lol

excellent! great paint work and the base looks awesome.

I keep wishing someone would do 1/6 figures.

I loved the visual effects from this show. well, I still do. One of my first DVD box set series was Space 1999. (I liked the ships and space suits a little more than the stories.)

1/6 Space 1999 space suits would be great.

I thought we would have a base on the moon by now.

I used to love that show as a kid! I liked it better than the original Trek series too! Fantastic job on the dio! Really brings back memories for me! :clap
