I've posted some threads about what I'd like to see improved upon with Sideshow bodies. But I do want to point out that Sideshow has made improvements recently. One of which is hand attachment. It wasn't until I purchased the X-files Skinner figure that I found out how good the new ball attachment is for the SW figures.

The mushroom shaped connection is wider than the ball and makes attaching and reattaching the hands very difficult. Forget about hands falling off. Forget about putting hands back on too.:lol Not only that, but the old style hands are made of a stiffer plastic and don't ply well when putting items into between the fingers and palm. The more rubbery hands on Luke are a great improvement and I thank Sideshow for that change.

If it comes off just boil the hand and pop it back on. I'd rather that than hands that drop off by themselves.

Yeah. That would be nicer if Anakin's whole arm didn't fall off every second.

I knew I read something about new joints earlier in the SSC production blog section. This was in the blog of March:

They had to do something for figures with interchangeable hands. Granted the new more pliable hands on the SW figs are very nice and easy to exchange for other hands.

Sometimes the hands come off a little too easy when I didn't mean them to, but all-in-all its a nice innovation.

Yet even the old style hands come off the larger wrist post without too much difficulty using a hair dryer.

I'm sure SS sees any problems long before see and start *****in about them. Once production is running on a limited item, not much can be done except make the changes for the next batch.
