A recording of what was a live feed from Comic Con. Where he touches about a variety of subjects including Firefly, The Avengers and of course Buffy.

"I'd like to play some parts.

Yeah I'd like to be Spike, or as we now call him Loki".

Also around the 42 min part he touches on Xander and his potential dark side as well as the how/why of killing of characters.

Another Whedon Q&A at the same event.

Some interesting stuff including a complaint from him about how badly women are portrayed when it comes to statues etc. He said he was looking to buy a statue representing a strong female character and yet couldn't find one that didn't look like she was belonged to porn industry.

Sideshow we're looking at you here. :thwak

Looove this. Because Loki is quickly replacing Spike in my heart. How did that happen?

Might just be because they're similar. Thing is, while I know they are, it's hard to put my finger on why.

Bad guys with a softer side? Massmurderers with a broken heart, looking to hurt people to ease the pain of childhood?

I'm going to write a blogpost about this.

Imo Spike is a far more complex and well written character then Loki, but Loki's character does remind me of early unsouled Spike in some ways, which is entertaining.

I was at this one and it was awesome and hilarious. He could be a standup comedian.

Thanks for the link. It is nice to hear Joss, because even with all his success he has remained, a nerd at heart.

I certainly agree that female statues are produced more for the sex angle than their character.
