I'm curious to know what everyone's favorite 1/6 figure to date is and why.
Mine is the SSC 1/6th scale AOTC Obi-wan Kenobi.
It would be my favorite not only because it's one of my favorite characters but because i was very satisfied with what came in the box.
The head sculpt is superb, i see a lot of Ewan's likeness in the face and the factory paint job is surprisingly very good.
Maybe its just my figure?:dunno
The entire outfit is very nice from the cloak, tunic and down to the boots.
All the accessories and the weapons are finely detailed down to the smallest detail.
Other great thing was that it was one of the cheaper figures i've bought and it was well worth it and would recommend it to anyone considering picking one up.
The only two things that would have made this figure better is if they had used the same fabric for the tunic as was on the prototype and the buck body had stronger joints.
Otherwise its great :clap

I've got a whopping total of THREE; Greedo, Hammerhead & phase1 yellow clone cmdr. The rest of their figures do nothing for me.
I'd say it's a toss up between those two aliens - I like them both. SSC did good with them - great detail, posability etc. After the Tusken Raider, no more SSC for me. I dislike the majority of their offerings.

Captain Jack Sparrow.
I almost didn't even buy him. He was only my second figure which cost over $200 (after Indy.) But the detail and the accessories are just amazing. All around, he's the best 12" figure I own.
Out of Star Wars figures: Boba is clearly the best made. Greedo is up there too. But I love my Kit Fisto and Ki Adi Mundi the best!

Ah! Oops! :)
Then I'll let Kit Fisto and Ki Adi Mundi have a tie.
Next Wednesday, it will be Fett, until then it's Vader.

Waxxer and Boil. I love this set, its gear, everything about it. Although I have a feeling when I get Lt. Falcon from the Joe line he may be my new favorite. I haven't seen a pic of him yet where I didn't think he looked insanely cool. The Joe line seems to be raising the bar and with some of the pics coming out of SDCC I may soon have another favorite. :yess:

Snake Eyes, hands down.
I had a field day when I opened Zartan. I want a Robin Hood so bad. I also love Cobra Commander, he just looks all class even without the staff.
Sideshow is stealing me over. Their DC line just put Medicom Hush and even Hot Toys Supes on hold (yet again). Darth Vader, also timed to stop me thinking of a Medicom rush. Baroness completes me, and that Snowtrooper was icing. Hanging out for Aquaman, Scout-trooper and um, Sideshow Marvel.
Boil & Waxer are in the giftcard section, tempt me more niltusk. I have Cody on order, do they go with him, eventually I could get that airborne one or stick to my original plan of Rex and Bly (and then the next three haha)? I was also thinking maybe a ninja (to supplement Stormshadow), or a Joe (for Falcon) or even another viper would look great teamed with Baroness eventually (two red-guards look better, but dunno if I can afford that and my viper doesn't look too grand next to the commander and officer, who's likely to be upgraded with Blood) ...although I should be saving for the above.
Okay, I never got the AT-AT pilot when I was young either. I want that too. And I'm thinking of two redguards again... I hate this game.

The ROTLA Indiana Jones figure. Couple of reasons.
First, I always wanted a Toys McCoy Indy. This one was better, and cheaper. Likeness is solid. Looks great on the shelf. Lots of great accessories. First 1/6 figure I ever purchased. Great figure.
Second ... I ordered one SS Indy figure. Sideshow sent me six -- a whole case. Heh. I called them to try to send them back, and they said they'd send me a shipping label. They never did ... and I ain't gonna nag them about it. The other five figures sat unopened in a box in my garage until last week. Sold them for to a comic book store for $300.
An altogether profitable endeavor.

Boil and Waxer Ex is gift cardable and low quantity. I have not had a more fun box from SSC period and yes, if you got Cody already, its even more essential. The combos and poses you can make are crazy. Waxer and Boil each have 3 portraits just like Cody, they've got like 18 hands, weapons, the child from the CW cartoon, and 212th binocs (that look really good with your Cody. :lol

I wasn't aware Sideshow was making a Joker.

I was tempted after your first post, and since this last one I almost clicked buy twice (always deciding between other toys). But now it's all gone, so I missed out. My Cody is still a pre-order at BBTS (decided I really wanted one before it went secondary market), so it must be Sideshows late or second round.
Seriously, I thought Sideshow was taking over my Hot Toys (and the DC line gives me high hopes of a Marvel line by someone too), but now I think it's ThreeA taking over my Sideshow (I'm on the verge of cancelling Cody for another ThreeA piece or three (I'm even reconsidering the Doctor and Kobe (wanted but not ordered) for cancellation, this is just getting too expensive for me to get everything I want or everyone's producing way too much for me to keep up), and I'm deciding on whether I really want Loki, Haweye or Black Widow - already not getting Thor and Ironman, while Cap is um & ah coz I got the first ones of each (well IM-IV). Hulk will always be gotten. And those sacrifices were to make room for likes of Sideshows Baroness, Snowtrooper and the DC line.
I also have a $50 gift card that keeps getting renewed every couple of months, but have only used it once at the start of the year. There is just always something new I want first, so never quite get to use it. It's the Sideshow Ninjas or another Viper I'm thinking. Or that Dewback if I can ever save for it. But right now I'm saving for some Ashley Wood.
I just hope everything keeps getting delayed for now heh.
