The Anakin Exclusive that i just recieved has a funny problem the magnets dont work with each other. This causes the boxes flap not to be able to stay closed. I checked them by placing them near another figures magnets and they work but when put together nothing. Has anyone else had this problem.

It sounds like some highly trained Chinese magnet technician (or box manufacturing machine) Put the magnets in backwards. This means they repell each other instead of attach to each other. Doesn't sound like there's much you can do about it unless Sideshow will switch it out for ya.

I hope Sideshow is willing to replace your box; it does indeed seem as though they put them in backwards. I suppose the chances are that somebody would have that kind of a thing happen, but that's too bad it was you. I hope they help you out!

Well I bought it from a web store last week and I dont think Sideshow will send a new one because of that.

Oh, that's not good I'm sorry. I guess you could at least try it out, no hurt in checking out. Unless you are way skilled in box surgery!

That's real bummer. You might want to still try Sideshow, they can be very helpful about these things. If that doesn't work you could try a board member who doesn't want there box will send it to you.

Y'know, my regular Anakin box had this same issue. One of the magnets just did not want to work. It did not stick at all.... and after a while of messing with it, I just gave up... :confused:

Well this one was an exclusive edition that i just bought so I dont know I guess Ill just have to deal with the box flap. Im just glad I got one.

I had issue with my Luke box....top magnets just dont hold shut.

If sideshow will replace a smashed box why won't they replace a defective one? I say give CS a call! :D

Because I didnt buy it directly from Sideshow and I think its in their policy not to be responcible for anything bought from a someone else. Its the exclusive version that is messed up that I bought a few days ago. I dont know why the retailer didnt ask for a new box from them.
