Action Figure raiyuri Predators

Here's a custom samurai hunter predator that's inspired by the famous Big Red predator from the Batman Dead End fan movie. Also provided a brief background of this guy, the ancestor of the Big Red predator that we saw appeared before Batman in the short film. Pardon me if the story is a bit messed up. Hehe.

- The red oni is a legend among samurai during ancient times, believed to appear only to samurai who are worthy and is given a chance to a duel with the unearthly being. -

Base figure: HT Tracker Predator
Head sculpt: HT Scar Predator
Greaves, Knee pads: HT Shadow Predator
Samurai: Ignite Swordsman
Custom P1 armors: Got the awesome parts from Dizzyarse, cheers mate thanks again!

@Goonsack Steve - That was my first choice but I decided to do some changes and I'm not going on the screen accurate look and I wanted him to look bigger so the super pred body is perfect for this project.

I was thinking that, you're going for the same type of body look as the new Samurai Predator coming later this year right?

For the body yeah, I think a bulky pred would look great together with the upcoming samurai pred.

Will be using this thread for new projects, I did an existing one at the wrong section sorry mods.-__-

This guy will be partnered with the Red Oni and the Samurai Pred once I receive mine so a team of three samurai themed predators won't make te samurai pred lonely. Hehe.

Decided to tie his dreads to give him a samurai look, still looking for 1/6 samurai swords that I'll put on his back and he's pretty much done. Will try to take more photos, lighting on these photos isn't that good.

Satsugaisha Samurai Pred

Base figure: Hot Toys Predator
Head: Brow part resculpted, sculpted tiny spikes on his head and lower fangs on the mandibles.
Right shoulder armor: Tracker pred scrap boot part
Greaves, Knee pads: Sculpted
Feet: HT Wolf Predator
Weapon: Shadow Predator

Here's a WIP of my Eradicator Pred, inspired by Narin's Death Warrior.
I used a classic pred head modified the lower jaw to make it closer to the upper teeth. Cut off the cheeks so I can do a wider mandible opening. Resculpted parts of the head, the brow part and the crown. Also added fangs on the lower mandibles and add length to the lower fangs.



Covered the cheeks with clay to conceal the cut area.


Started painting the head.

Head mounted on wolf pred's body.

wow it looks great..i know what pred you are talking about the narin death warrior. i really like the narin designs!!
i really want to get into doing custom preds..i want to learn how to sculpt from scratch and sculpt onto existing pieces. i just don't know where to look on how to do it...
if you don't mind me asking, do you use a special kind of clay or something? and once u sculpt it onto the head do you have to do something to make it stick or bond for good..like heating it up?

@dArko2806 - The clay I use is air dry so you don't have to heat it up to cure. I think the one I'm using is the same as apoxie clay. Hope it helps. You should try sculpting bro, it's so much fun well you'll definitely start getting not so good results at first but you'll improve along the way. I myself still have a lot to learn specially in painting, I would love to try doing natural looking veins, I have no idea how it's done. Hehe.

thanks for the help man. i appreciate it. i really want to start sculpting! i have been trying to finish getting all of the HT predators first, then i can start putting my money into customs buying all the bodies, armor, accessories and material. i cant wait tho im just about ready! I'm trying to gather all the tips and advice i can before i start. im just concerned about getting the right kind of clay and paints( airbrush or brush) im guessing you use enamel like with model cars. lots to learn.
your death warrior is soooo cool man, one of my favorite narin designs..you did a great job! i want to do a custom bad blood. once again thanks for the help
